洛阳职业技术学院位于千年古都、牡丹花城、丝路起点洛阳，是洛阳市政府举办和管理的一所公办全日制普通高等职业院校。学校东望夏都遗址，西览龙门石窟，南依万安山麓，北临伊洛河畔，主校区位于洛阳市伊滨区科技大道6号，另有高新、西工、瀍河等校区，总占地面积近2800亩，教学仪器设备价值1.8亿元，馆藏图书108.97万册，校外实习实训基地153个，拥有直属附属医院1个、教学附属医院2个，目前在校生24000余人。

Luoyang Polytechnic is a public full-time higher vocational college sponsored and managed by the Luoyang Municipal Government, located in Luoyang, an ancient capital with a thousand-year history, a city of peonies, and the starting point of the Silk Road. The school overlooks the ruins of the Xia Dynasty capital to the east, the Longmen Grottoes to the west, is nestled at the foot of Wan'an Mountain to the south, and borders the Yi and Luo Rivers to the north. Its main campus is located at No. 6 Keji Avenue, Yibin District, Luoyang, with additional campuses in Gaoxin, Xigong, and Chanhe districts. The total campus area is nearly 2,800 mu, with teaching equipment valued at 180 million yuan, a collection of 1.0897 million books, 153 off-campus internship and training bases, 1 directly affiliated hospital, 2 teaching-affiliated hospitals, and currently over 24,000 students.

学校成立于2011年，由原洛阳市职工科技学院、洛阳市卫生学校和洛阳高级技工学校合并组建，2018年整合洛阳市财经学校、洛阳市财会中等专业学校、洛阳文化艺术学校、洛阳市第二卫生职业中等专业学校等资源重新组建，现为河南省首批高水平职业院校和高水平专业群建设单位、河南省“国际化特色高校”建设单位。学校坚持“巩固提升医科、做大做强工科、打造特色人文社科”的专业建设思路，开设医药卫生、装备制造、财经商贸、文化艺术等12个大类60个专业，其中护理、医学检验技术为国家级骨干专业，护理、机械设计与制造为中央财政支持重点专业，拥有国家级精品在线开放课程《妇产科护理学》及国家级实训基地——全科医师生产性实训基地。

Founded in 2011, the college was formed by the merger of the former Luoyang Staff College of Science and Technology, Luoyang Health School, and Luoyang Senior Technical School. In 2018, it was reorganized by integrating resources from Luoyang Finance and Economics School, Luoyang Accounting Secondary Professional School, Luoyang Cultural and Art School, Luoyang No. 2 Health Vocational Secondary School, etc. It is now a first-batch construction unit for high-level vocational colleges and professional groups in Henan Province, as well as a construction unit for "international characteristic colleges" in Henan. Adhering to the professional construction philosophy of "consolidating and upgrading medical disciplines, strengthening engineering disciplines, and creating distinctive humanities and social sciences", the college offers 60 majors covering 12 categories including medicine and health, equipment manufacturing, finance and trade, and culture and art. Among them, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology are national key majors, while Nursing and Mechanical Design and Manufacturing are key majors supported by central finance. It also boasts a national high-quality online open course "Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing" and a national training base - the General Practitioner Productive Training Base.

学校现有专任教师900人，其中博士35人、硕士469人，享受国务院特殊津贴2人，国家级非物质文化遗产代表性传承人1人，省级非物质文化遗产代表性传承人1人，河洛大工匠2人，河南省职业教育专家3人。学校深化产教融合，与比亚迪、中兴通讯等知名企业共建产业学院，形成“产学研创一体化”合作模式，先后荣获河南省文明校园、河南省职业教育特色院校等称号，致力于培养适应区域经济社会发展的高素质技术技能复合型人才。

The college has 900 full-time teachers, including 35 doctors and 469 masters. Among them, 2 enjoy special allowances from the State Council, 1 is a national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritor, 1 is a provincial intangible cultural heritage representative inheritor, 2 are Heluo Great Craftsmen, and 3 are Henan vocational education experts. Deepening industry-education integration, the college has jointly established industrial colleges with renowned enterprises such as BYD and ZTE Corporation, forming an "integration of production, education, research, and innovation" cooperation model. It has successively been awarded titles such as Henan Civilized Campus and Henan Vocational Education Characteristic College, dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled compound talents adapting to regional economic and social development.
