柳州城市职业学院是一所由柳州市人民政府举办的公办全日制高等职业学校，于2006年2月设立，前身为创办于1940年的柳州师范学校。2007年5月，柳州市广播电视大学、柳州市第三职业技术学校和柳州市工业贸易职业技术学校整体并入学校。学校坐落于柳州市官塘职教园区，占地1003亩，以全日制高等职业教育为主导，集中等职业教育、学历教育、成人教育、远程教育、国际学生教育和技能培训于一体。

Liuzhou City Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational school run by the Liuzhou Municipal People's Government. It was established in February 2006, and its predecessor was Liuzhou Normal School founded in 1940. In May 2007, Liuzhou Radio and Television University, Liuzhou No. 3 Vocational and Technical School, and Liuzhou Industry and Trade Vocational and Technical School were fully merged into the college. Located in Guantang Vocational Education Park of Liuzhou, the college covers an area of 1003 mu, focusing on full-time higher vocational education, integrating secondary vocational education, academic education, adult education, distance education, international student education and skill training.

学校坚持社会主义办学方向，落实立德树人根本任务，主动融入国家发展战略，服务地方经济发展，深化产教融合、科教融汇，先后获评为国家1+X证书试点院校、全国党建工作样板支部培育创建单位、全国职业院校非遗教育传承示范基地等。目前全日制在校生近2万人，成人教育超3000人，国际学生200余人，设有11个教学单位，开设45个高职专业，其中电气自动化技术、智慧健康养老服务与管理两个专业群入选广西壮族自治区高水平专业群，建成1个国家级骨干专业、1个国家级协同创新中心、1个国家级生产性实训基地。

Adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools and implementing the fundamental task of moral education, the college actively integrates into national development strategies, serves local economic development, and deepens the integration of industry and education as well as science and education. It has been successively rated as a national 1+X certificate pilot college, a national model branch cultivation and creation unit for party building work, and a national vocational college demonstration base for intangible cultural heritage education inheritance. At present, there are nearly 20,000 full-time students, over 3,000 adult education students, and more than 200 international students. The college has 11 teaching units and offers 45 higher vocational majors. Among them, the two professional groups of Electrical Automation Technology and Intelligent Health Elderly Care Service and Management have been selected as high-level professional groups in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with 1 national backbone major, 1 national collaborative innovation center, and 1 national productive training base.

学校坚持国际化发展道路，借助“一带一路”发展机遇，创新实施“职业教育伴随企业走出去”，形成以印度尼西亚、老挝、菲律宾三国为主，辐射东南亚、中亚及欧洲部分国家的国际教育格局，留学生数量长期位居广西高职院校前列。与上汽通用五菱等大型企业深度合作，2023年入选中国—东盟教育开放合作试验区来桂留学基地培育学校，2024年在印尼挂牌成立中国-印度尼西亚新能源汽车现代工匠学院，国际化特色日益彰显。

Adhering to the path of international development, the college takes advantage of the "the Belt and Road" development opportunities, innovatively implements "vocational education going global with enterprises", and forms an international education pattern focusing on Indonesia, Laos and the Philippines, radiating Southeast Asia, Central Asia and some European countries. The number of international students has long been among the top in Guangxi's higher vocational colleges. It has in-depth cooperation with large enterprises such as SAIC-GM-Wuling. In 2023, it was selected as a cultivation school for international student bases in Guangxi under the China-ASEAN Education Open Cooperation Pilot Zone. In 2024, the China-Indonesia New Energy Vehicle Modern Craftsman College was established in Indonesia, highlighting its increasingly prominent international characteristics.
