Founded in 1918, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirz is a long-established and leading public university in Central Asia, with its main campus located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It comprises 13 faculties covering over 200 research areas, offering master's and doctoral degrees, and boasts a comprehensive scientific system and strong educational research capabilities.

该校现有1180位教职人员，包括29位院士、350多位教授及200多位博士生导师，在语言教育、国际交流等领域特色鲜明。近年来积极深化与中国的人文合作，通过交换生项目、学术交流等推动中乌教育互联互通，是乌兹别克斯坦高等教育国际化的重要窗口。

The university currently has 1,180 faculty members, including 29 academicians, over 350 professors, and more than 200 doctoral supervisors, with distinctive strengths in language education and international exchange. In recent years, it has actively deepened cultural cooperation with China through exchange programs and academic exchanges, serving as a key platform for internationalization of higher education in Uzbekistan.
