南京工程学院是一所位于江苏省南京市的省属普通本科高校，是教育部“卓越工程师教育培养计划”首批试点高校、国家“CDIO工程教育模式改革研究与实践”试点高校之一，入选国家首批“新工科研究与实践项目”。学校办学历史始于1915年，经过百年发展，已成为一所以工为主，工学、经济学、管理学、文学、理学、法学、艺术学等多学科协调发展的高等学府。

Nanjing Institute of Technology is a provincial public undergraduate university located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the first pilot universities of the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, a pilot university for the "CDIO Engineering Education Model Reform Research and Practice", and included in the first batch of "New Engineering Research and Practice Projects" in China. The university's history dates back to 1915, and after a century of development, it has become a comprehensive higher education institution focusing on engineering, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, literature, science, law, and art.

学校现有江宁、竹山路两个校区，占地面积近3000亩，校舍建筑面积80余万平方米。设有19个二级学院（部），开设70余个本科专业，其中，国家级一流本科专业建设点20个，国家级特色专业3个，教育部“卓越工程师教育培养计划”试点专业6个。拥有全日制在校生2.4万余人，教职工1800余人，其中高级职称人员700余人，具有博士学位的教师占比达60%以上。

The university has two campuses, Jiangning and Zhushan Road, covering an area of nearly 3000 mu with a building area of over 800,000 square meters. It has 19 secondary colleges (departments) offering more than 70 undergraduate majors, including 20 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 3 national characteristic majors, and 6 pilot majors of the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program". It has more than 24,000 full-time students and over 1,800 faculty members, including more than 700 with senior professional titles, and over 60% of teachers with doctoral degrees.

学校坚持以人才培养为中心，深化产教融合、校企合作，与国内外数百家企业建立了稳定的合作关系，共建了一批现代产业学院和实习实训基地。注重学生实践能力和创新精神培养，近年来，学生在全国大学生数学建模竞赛、“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛、全国大学生机械创新设计大赛等国家级赛事中屡获佳绩。毕业生就业率连续多年保持在全省高校前列，用人单位满意度持续提升，赢得了社会各界的广泛赞誉。
