内江师范学院是四川省人民政府举办、四川省教育厅主管的全日制普通本科高等院校，坐落于成渝地区双城经济圈主轴重要节点城市——四川省内江市。学校于1956年举办高等教育，2000年由内江师范高等专科学校与内江教育学院合并升本建院，2021年分批搬迁入高桥新校区。秉承“明德、博学、笃行、创新”的校训，践行“扎根地方、追求卓越”的办学理念，已发展成为融研究生教育（联合培养）、普通本科教育、继续教育、留学生教育于一体的省属本科院校。

Neijiang Normal University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution sponsored by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and administered by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. It is located in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, a key node city in the main axis of the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Circle. The university began its higher education in 1956 and was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2000 through the merger of Neijiang Teachers College and Neijiang College of Education. In 2021, it relocated to the new Gaoqiao campus in batches. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practice, Innovation" and the educational philosophy of "Rooted in the Local, Striving for Excellence", it has developed into a provincial undergraduate university integrating graduate education (joint training), general undergraduate education, continuing education, and international student education.

学校占地3115亩，校舍面积92万平方米，馆藏纸质图书213万余册，教学仪器设备总值2.564亿元。设有19个二级学院，66个本科专业（招生专业49个），涵盖文、理、工、农、法、教、管、史、经、艺等10个学科门类，现有全日制本专科学生、留学生、研究生18000余人。近年来荣获“全国公共机构节能示范单位”“四川省文明校园”等称号，在软科2023中国大学排名中位列第373名，居省属同类院校首位。

The university covers an area of 3115 mu (about 207.7 hectares) with a building area of 920,000 square meters. It has a collection of over 2.13 million paper books and teaching instruments and equipment worth 256.4 million yuan. It consists of 19 secondary colleges offering 66 undergraduate programs (49 enrollment majors), covering 10 disciplines including arts, science, engineering, agriculture, law, education, management, history, economics, and art. Currently, it has over 18,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, international students, and postgraduates. In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "National Model Unit for Energy Conservation in Public Institutions" and "Sichuan Civilized Campus". In the 2023 Soft Science China University Rankings, it ranked 373rd, topping similar provincial universities.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，拥有10个省级一流本科专业建设点、4个省级应用型本科示范专业，2门国家级一流本科课程及70门省级精品课程。建有四川省重点实验室、哲学社会科学重点研究基地等10余个省级科研平台，近五年承担省部级以上科研项目190余项，获省部级科研成果奖15项。面向全国28个省市区招生，与150余个单位建立合作关系，建有实训实习基地481个，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质应用型人才。

Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the university has 10 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 4 provincial-level applied undergraduate demonstration majors, 2 national-level first-class undergraduate courses, and 70 provincial-level excellent courses. It has established more than 10 provincial-level scientific research platforms such as Sichuan Key Laboratories and Philosophy and Social Sciences Key Research Bases. In the past five years, it has undertaken over 190 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level and won 15 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research achievement awards. Enrolling students from 28 provinces and cities nationwide, it has established cooperative relations with more than 150 units and built 481 training and internship bases, cultivating a large number of high-quality applied talents for regional economic and social development.
