宁夏体育职业学院创办于2017年10月，是经宁夏回族自治区人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等体育职业院校，前身为1980年成立的宁夏体育运动学校。学院位于银川市西夏区学院东路360号，占地431亩，建筑面积约8.5万平方米，拥有球类馆、射击馆、田径场等41个教学训练场馆，与自治区体育训练管理中心共享资源。

Ningxia Vocational College of Physical Education was founded in October 2017. It is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education, formerly known as Ningxia Sports School established in 1980. Located at No. 360 Xueyuan East Road, Xixia District, Yinchuan, the college covers an area of 431 mu with a construction area of about 85,000 square meters. It has 41 teaching and training venues including ball halls, shooting halls, and track and field grounds, sharing resources with the Autonomous Region Sports Training Management Center.

学院开设体育教育、运动训练、社会体育等7个高职专业，开展田径、足球、武术等19个运动专项，现有教职工205人，专任教师148人（其中高级职称22人），在校生2220人。近年来培养出亚运会冠军何杰、残奥会亚军马玉喜等优秀运动员，2024年高职毕业生去向落实率达92.16%，是宁夏体育人才培养的重要基地。

The college offers 7 higher vocational majors such as Physical Education, Sports Training, and Social Sports, and carries out 19 sports specialties including track and field, football, and martial arts. It has 205 faculty members, 148 full-time teachers (including 22 with senior titles), and 2220 students. In recent years, it has cultivated outstanding athletes such as Asian Games champion He Jie and Paralympic Games runner-up Ma Yuxi. The employment rate of higher vocational graduates reached 92.16% in 2024, making it an important base for sports talent cultivation in Ningxia.
