中国人民解放军陆军炮兵防空兵学院是一所承担炮兵、防空兵指挥军官培训任务的兵种指挥类高等教育院校，2017年7月由原陆军军官学院、南京炮兵学院、防空兵学院、沈阳炮兵学院调整组建，属副军级编制，院本部设在合肥，下设南京校区、郑州校区和士官学校（沈阳）。学院历史底蕴深厚，前身可追溯至毛泽东同志亲自创办的八路军第一所炮兵学校——延安炮兵学校，累计为部队输送36万余名炮兵防空兵指挥人才，1000余人成长为共和国将军。

The PLA Army Academy of Artillery and Air Defense is a military command academy responsible for training command officers for artillery and air defense units. Established in July 2017 through the reorganization of the former Army Officer Academy, Nanjing Artillery Academy, Air Defense Academy, and Shenyang Artillery Academy, it holds a deputy army-level establishment with its headquarters in Hefei and subordinate campuses in Nanjing, Zhengzhou, and a non-commissioned officer school in Shenyang. With profound historical roots tracing back to the Yan'an Artillery School—the first artillery school of the Eighth Route Army founded by Mao Zedong himself—the academy has trained over 360,000 artillery and air defense command personnel, with more than 1,000 becoming generals of the People's Republic.

学院构建了指挥与技术相结合、军事与工程相融合的学科专业体系，拥有博士后科研流动站3个、一级学科博士学位授权点1个、一级学科硕士学位授权点6个，开设15个本科专业，涵盖军事学、工学等六大学科门类。师资力量雄厚，现有中国工程院院士、专业技术少将军官等高层次人才60余名，教授、副教授480余名，建有2个军队级重点实验室和4个省级实验实训示范中心，先后承担陆军智慧校园工程、全军院校教学评价等多项试点任务，荣获国家和军队科技奖、教学成果奖130余项。

The academy has established a disciplinary system integrating command and technology, military science and engineering, featuring 3 post-doctoral research stations, 1 first-level discipline doctoral program, 6 first-level discipline master programs, and 15 undergraduate majors covering military science, engineering, and other six disciplines. Boasting a strong faculty including over 60 high-level talents such as CAS academicians and senior military technical officers, along with more than 480 professors and associate professors, it houses 2 military-level key laboratories and 4 provincial experimental training centers. The academy has undertaken multiple pilot projects including the Army Smart Campus Project and military academy teaching evaluation, winning over 130 national and military science and technology awards and teaching achievement awards.
