中国人民解放军海军航空大学坐落于山东省烟台市，是一所公办军事类普通本科院校，主管部门为中国人民解放军海军。学校创建于1950年，2017年由原海军航空兵学院和海军航空工程学院重组而成，是海军指挥与工程技术人才培养的主要基地、航空航天领域科研中心和“航母骄子的摇篮”。学校占地面积5300亩，地址位于山东省烟台市芝罘区二马路188号，学科专业涉及工学、军事学、理学和管理学4个门类，现有4个一级博士点、12个一级硕士点，拥有1个国家重点学科、11个全军重点建设学科专业领域，被誉为“海空骄子的摇篮”。

The People's Liberation Army Naval Aeronautical University is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is a public military undergraduate institution under the administration of the PLA Navy. Founded in 1950 and reorganized in 2017 through the merger of the former Naval Aeronautical Academy and Naval Aeronautical Engineering Academy, it serves as a key base for cultivating naval command and engineering talents, a research center in aerospace fields, and the "cradle of aircraft carrier elites". Covering an area of 5,300 mu, the university is situated at No. 188 Erma Road, Zhifu District, Yantai. Its disciplines span engineering, military science, natural science, and management, with 4 first-level doctoral programs, 12 first-level master programs, 1 national key discipline, and 11 military key disciplines, earning it the reputation as the "cradle of naval aviation elites".

学校以培养海军航空兵和岸防兵初级指挥军官、航空航天工程技术军官为主，设26个教学管理单位，拥有23个本科专业，包括飞行技术、电子信息工程、无人作战工程等特色专业。师资力量雄厚，现有中国工程院院士1人，全国优秀科技工作者3人，教授、副教授480余人，博士研究生导师70余人，先后走出近百名将军，涌现出“时代楷模”舰载机飞行教官群体等先进典型。学校两次在全军院校教学工作评价中名列第一，被授予“全军院校教学优秀单位”称号，是全军最早的学历教育院校之一和军队“十三五”重点建设院校。

Focused on training junior command officers for naval aviation and coastal defense forces, as well as aerospace engineering officers, the university comprises 26 teaching units and offers 23 undergraduate programs, including flight technology, electronic information engineering, and unmanned combat engineering. Its faculty includes 1 member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 3 national outstanding scientists, over 480 professors and associate professors, and more than 70 doctoral supervisors. The university has produced nearly 100 generals and notable groups like the "Model of the Times" aircraft carrier-based flight instructor team. It ranked first in two military academy teaching evaluations, was awarded "Excellent Military Academy in Teaching", and stands as one of the earliest academic education institutions and a key military academy during the "13th Five-Year Plan".
