黔东南民族职业技术学院位于贵州省黔东南苗族侗族自治州首府凯里市，是一所公办全日制高等职业院校。学院办学历史可追溯至1956年创办的黔东南农业合作干部学校，2001年8月经贵州省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由黔东南民族农业学校、黔东南州卫生学校、黔东南州财贸学校、黔东南州民族林业学校合并组建而成，2012年8月整体搬迁至凯里经济开发区。

Qiandongnan Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities is located in Kaili City, the capital of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is a public full-time higher vocational college. The college's educational history can be traced back to the Qiandongnan Agricultural Cooperation Cadre School founded in March 1956. In August 2001, approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education, it was formed by the merger of Qiandongnan National Agricultural School, Qiandongnan Prefecture Health School, Qiandongnan Prefecture Finance and Trade School, and Qiandongnan Prefecture National Forestry School. In August 2012, it was relocated to Kaili Economic Development Zone as a whole.

学院是全国首批创新创业典型经验50强高校、全国民族团结进步示范学校、中国非物质文化遗产传承人群研修研习培训基地，同时也是贵州省“双高”校建设单位、优质高职院校和示范性高职院校。现有凯里、丹寨万达两个校区，占地面积1167亩，设有11个教学系，开设39个专业，在编教职工690名，其中博士研究生14人、副高级及以上职称172人，在校学生13000余名。

The college is among the first batch of 50 universities with typical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship in China, a national model school for national unity and progress, a training base for inheritors of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, as well as a "Double High-Level" university construction unit, a high-quality higher vocational college and a demonstration higher vocational college in Guizhou Province. It has two campuses, Kaili and Danzhai Wanda, covering an area of 1167 mu, with 11 teaching departments and 39 majors. There are 690 in-service faculty members, including 14 doctoral students, 172 with associate senior titles or above, and more than 13,000 students.

学院坚持“根植民族地区、弘扬民族文化、培养民族工匠、服务民族产业”的办学定位，深化教育教学改革，构建了“三主体一路径五机制”人才培养模式，重点发展医药卫生、民族文化、生态农业等特色专业群。近五年来，学生技能大赛获省级以上奖项361项，毕业生年均毕业去向落实率达90.4%，正朝着“民族标杆、全省一流、全国知名”高职院校的目标迈进。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "taking root in ethnic areas, promoting ethnic culture, cultivating ethnic craftsmen, and serving ethnic industries", the college deepens education and teaching reform, and has constructed a "three-main-body, one-path, five-mechanism" talent training model, focusing on developing characteristic professional groups such as medicine and health, ethnic culture, and ecological agriculture. In the past five years, students have won 361 provincial and above awards in skill competitions, and the annual employment rate of graduates has reached 90.4%, moving towards the goal of becoming a "national benchmark, first-class in the province, and nationally renowned" higher vocational college.
