秦皇岛职业技术学院是经河北省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，始建于1951年，2001年正式升格为高等职业院校。学校是国家骨干高职院校立项建设单位、国家优质专科高等职业院校建设立项单位、第二批国家现代学徒制试点单位、全国职业教育先进单位、全国文明单位，也是全国“双高计划”中国特色高水平专业建设单位（C档）。

Qinhuangdao Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Hebei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1951, it was officially upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2001. The college is a national backbone higher vocational college project construction unit, a national high-quality junior college construction project unit, the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units, a national advanced unit in vocational education, a national civilized unit, and also a national "Double High Plan" Chinese characteristic high-level professional construction unit (Grade C).

学院位于河北省秦皇岛市北戴河区，设有信息工程系、经济系、机电工程系、旅游系等多个教学部门，开设数控技术、计算机应用技术、酒店管理、会计等40余个专业，其中多个专业为省级教学改革示范专业或中央财政重点支持建设专业。学校现有在职教职工600余人，专职教师近500人，拥有完备的教育教学设施和实训基地，并设有国家职业技能鉴定所。

Located in Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, the college has multiple teaching departments including the Department of Information Engineering, Department of Economics, Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Department of Tourism. It offers more than 40 majors such as Numerical Control Technology, Computer Application Technology, Hotel Management, and Accounting, among which many are provincial-level teaching reform demonstration majors or key construction majors supported by central finance. The college currently has over 600 in-service faculty members, nearly 500 full-time teachers, complete educational and teaching facilities and training bases, and a national vocational skill appraisal institute.
