青海大学坐落于青海省西宁市，是一所以工、农、医、管为主，其他学科协调发展的综合性大学，是国家“双一流”建设高校，也是青海省属重点高校。学校始建于1958年，历经多年发展，已形成覆盖学士、硕士、博士三级学位授予权的完整人才培养体系，在青藏高原特色学科领域具有显著优势。

Qinghai University is located in Xining, Qinghai Province. It is a comprehensive university focusing on engineering, agriculture, medicine, and management, with coordinated development of other disciplines. It is a national "Double First-Class" construction university and a key university under the jurisdiction of Qinghai Province. Founded in 1958, the university has developed over the years into a complete talent training system covering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree authorization, with significant advantages in characteristic disciplines of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

学校现有全日制在校生2.5万余人，教职工2600余人，其中高级职称人员800余人，拥有国家级教学团队、国家级人才等一批高层次师资力量。学科建设方面，拥有生态学1个国家“双一流”建设学科，以及作物学、畜牧学、临床医学等多个省级重点学科，在三江源生态保护、高原农业、藏医药研究等领域成果丰硕。

The university currently has over 25,000 full-time students and more than 2,600 faculty members, including over 800 with senior professional titles. It boasts a number of high-level faculty, such as national teaching teams and national-level talents. In terms of discipline construction, it has 1 national "Double First-Class" construction discipline (Ecology), as well as several provincial key disciplines including Crop Science, Animal Husbandry, and Clinical Medicine. It has achieved fruitful results in fields such as Sanjiangyuan ecological protection, plateau agriculture, and Tibetan medicine research.

学校注重产学研结合，积极服务地方经济社会发展，先后与清华大学等多所高校建立对口支援关系，与国内外科研机构开展广泛合作。校园占地3000余亩，各类教学科研设施完善，为学生提供了良好的学习和科研环境，是培养适应青藏高原发展需要的高素质人才的重要基地。
