Quanzhou Institute of Engineering was approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province in November 2013. It is a full-time non-profit private higher vocational college, founded by Nan'an Hongxiang Education Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quanzhou Nanyi Investment Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise under Nan'an City.
