泉州海洋职业学院是经福建省人民政府批准、教育部备案的福建省“双高计划”立项建设职业高等院校，由爱国华侨蔡天真先生创办，2009年正式招生。学校以涉海专业为特色，开设航海技术、轮机工程技术等39个高职专业，现有全日制在校生近2.2万人，船员教育培训规模位居全国前列。

Quanzhou Ocean Vocational College is a vocational higher education institution approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, listed in Fujian's "Double High Plan" project. Founded by patriotic overseas Chinese Mr. Cai Tianzhen, it officially enrolled students in 2009. Featuring marine-related majors, the college offers 39 higher vocational programs including Navigation Technology and Marine Engineering Technology, with nearly 22,000 full-time students and a leading national scale in crew education and training.

学校占地1105亩，拥有国内高校唯一的千吨级可航行特种船舶、360°全视景航海模拟器等先进实训设备，是国内同类院校中唯一具备独立码头、港湾、沙滩、岛屿等海上实训条件的高校。校园依山面海，配备全海景图书馆、闽南特色学生街等设施，学生公寓均配有空调、热水器及独立卫浴。

Covering an area of 1105 mu, the college boasts advanced training facilities such as the only 1,000-ton navigable special ship and 360° full-vision navigation simulator among domestic universities. It is the only institution of its kind in China with maritime training conditions including independent docks, harbors, beaches, and islands. The campus is situated by mountains and the sea, equipped with a sea-view library, Minnan-style student street, and student apartments with air conditioning, water heaters, and private bathrooms.
