泉州师范学院是福建省重点建设高校、福建省“双一流”建设高校、福建省示范性应用型本科高校。学校坐落于著名侨乡、历史文化名城泉州，现有东海、诗山和江南三个校区，占地1815亩。学校设有18个二级学院，58个本科专业，涵盖文、理、工、教、经、管、法、艺等八大学科门类。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点14个，省级一流本科专业建设点23个，国家级特色专业2个，省级特色专业9个。

Quanzhou Normal University is a key construction university in Fujian Province, a "Double First-Class" construction university in Fujian Province, and a demonstration application-oriented undergraduate university in Fujian Province. Located in Quanzhou, a famous overseas Chinese hometown and historical and cultural city, the university has three campuses: Donghai, Shishan and Jiangnan, covering an area of 1815 mu. The university has 18 secondary colleges and 58 undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines including arts, science, engineering, education, economics, management, law and art. It has 14 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 23 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 2 national characteristic majors and 9 provincial characteristic majors.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，深化教育教学改革，人才培养质量持续提升。近年来，学生在全国大学生“挑战杯”竞赛、数学建模竞赛、电子设计竞赛等各类学科竞赛中屡获佳绩。学校现有全日制在校本科生、研究生2万余人，教职工1500余人，其中高级职称教师占比超过40%，拥有一批享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划人选等高层次人才。

In recent years, students have achieved excellent results in various academic competitions such as the National College Students' "Challenge Cup" Competition, Mathematical Modeling Competition, and Electronic Design Competition. The university currently has more than 20,000 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates, and more than 1,500 faculty members, of which more than 40% are senior professional title teachers. It has a number of high-level talents such as experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and candidates for the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education.
