三亚理工职业学院始建于2009年，是经海南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的普通高等职业学校，由世界500强企业吉利控股集团出资举办。学校坐落于三亚市迎宾大道学院路，毗邻国家文物保护单位落笔洞及热带风情万科森林公园，与三亚学院为兄弟院校，共享优质教学资源。校园占地面积500亩，建筑面积30多万平方米，下设智能汽车与工程学院、旅游与康体产业学院等7个院部，开设涵盖装备制造、电子信息、旅游等10个专业大类的51个专业，形成以工学为主体，凸显数字技术特色的学科专业群布局。

Sanya Institute of Technology was founded in 2009. It is a public higher vocational school approved by the People's Government of Hainan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is funded by Geely Holding Group, a Fortune Global 500 company. The school is located on Xueyuan Road, Yingbin Avenue, Sanya City, adjacent to the Luobi Cave, a national cultural relics protection unit, and the tropical style Vanke Forest Park. It is a sibling institution with Sanya University and shares high-quality teaching resources. The campus covers an area of 500 mu, with a building area of more than 300,000 square meters. It has 7 departments including the School of Intelligent Automobile and Engineering, the School of Tourism and Health Industry, etc., offering 51 majors covering 10 professional categories such as equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and tourism, forming a discipline professional group layout with engineering as the main body and highlighting digital technology characteristics.

学校秉持“学生走进校园的目的是为了更好地走向社会”的办学理念，是教育部现代学徒制试点单位和首批1+X证书制度试点院校，拥有教育部骨干专业1个、海南省级高水平专业群1个。现有专任教师394人，双师型教师占比51.56%，建有8个技能大师工作室。校园设施完善，配备学术交流中心、实验中心、高科技图书馆等现代化教学生活设施，Wi-Fi全覆盖，为学生提供宜学宜居的生态校园环境。学校初次就业率连续8年位列海南省高职院校前茅，70%毕业生在海南就业，为海南自贸港建设输送了大量技术技能人才。

It has 1 backbone major of the Ministry of Education and 1 high-level professional group of Hainan Province. There are 394 full-time teachers, with 51.56% of them being double-qualified teachers, and 8 skill master studios have been established.
