四川职业技术学院是由四川省人民政府主办，四川省人民政府、遂宁市人民政府共建，四川省教育厅直管的公办全日制普通高等学校。学校始建于1911年，具有110多年职业教育办学历史，坐落在四川第二大交通枢纽、成渝心脏地带的遂宁市。学校与遂宁市船山区政府联合打造龙凤产学研园区，与射洪市政府联合打造锂电科技学院，与安居区政府联合打造汽车学院，形成“一校区一园区两基地”办学格局。

Sichuan Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution sponsored by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, co-constructed by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the People's Government of Suining City, and directly under the Department of Education of Sichuan Province. Founded in 1911, the college has a history of over 110 years in vocational education and is located in Suining City, the second largest transportation hub in Sichuan and the heart of the Chengdu-Chongqing region. The college has jointly built the Longfeng Industry-University-Research Park with the Chuanshan District Government of Suining City, the Lithium Battery Technology College with the Shehong Municipal Government, and the Automobile College with the Anju District Government, forming a school-running pattern of "one campus, one park and two bases".

学校占地总面积近2100余亩，校舍总面积66万余平方米，图书馆藏书115.4万册、电子期刊36.1万册、16个专业数据库平台，建有校内实践场所258个，稳定校外实训基地257个。现有教职员工1300余人，其中具有高级职称近300人，博士、硕士学位教师700余人。开设有涵盖文、理、工、管、经、师、农、艺、医等学科的全日制普通大专专业74个，职业教育本科试点专业4个，现有全日制本专科学生2.3万余人，每年开展各类社会培训10万余人次。

The college covers a total area of nearly 2,100 mu, with a total building area of more than 660,000 square meters. The library has a collection of 1.154 million books, 361,000 electronic journals, and 16 professional database platforms. It has 258 on-campus practice sites and 257 stable off-campus training bases. There are more than 1,300 faculty members, including nearly 300 with senior professional titles and more than 700 teachers with doctoral or master's degrees. It offers 74 full-time ordinary college majors covering arts, science, engineering, management, economics, education, agriculture, arts, medicine and other disciplines, and 4 vocational education undergraduate pilot majors. There are more than 23,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, and more than 100,000 person-times of various social training are carried out every year.

学校秉持“明志、厚德、尚学、笃行”的校训和“吃好住好，学到本领，健康成长”的办学理念，先后获得教育部高职高专人才培养评估优秀学校、全国文明单位、全国教学成果二等奖、四川省普通高等学校毕业生就业工作先进集体等省级以上殊荣70余项，是四川省示范性高职院校、四川省优质高等职业院校、四川省高水平高职学校和高水平专业群建设单位、四川省本科层次职业教育人才培养改革试点院校。

Adhering to the school motto of "Aspiration, Virtue, Learning, and Practice" and the school-running philosophy of "Eat well, live well, learn skills, and grow healthily", the college has successively won more than 70 provincial-level or higher honors such as Excellent School in the Evaluation of Talent Training in Higher Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education, National Civilized Unit, Second Prize of National Teaching Achievements, and Advanced Collective in Employment Work of College Graduates in Sichuan Province.
