山东第一医科大学（山东省医学科学院）是山东省重点建设高校，也是山东省最大的医学科学研究机构。其办学历史可追溯至1915年创建的山东省立医学讲习所，历经泰山医学院等发展阶段，2019年2月由泰山医学院、山东省医学科学院、山东省立医院、山东省千佛山医院整合组建而成，同时挂山东省医学科学院牌子，2020年入选山东省高水平大学建设项目冲一流高校。

Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) is a key university in Shandong Province and the largest medical scientific research institution in the province. Its educational history dates back to the Shandong Provincial Medical Training Institute founded in 1915, which later developed into Taishan Medical College. In February 2019, it was formally established through the integration of Taishan Medical College, Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences, Shandong Provincial Hospital, and Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital, while also retaining the牌子 of Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2020, it was selected into Shandong Provincial High-level University Construction Project as a "first-class university" candidate.

学校在济南、泰安设有校区，主校区位于济南国际医学中心核心区域，总占地面积6000余亩，在济南、青岛、济宁等地建有研究机构。现有教职工2.1万余人（含附属医院），其中两院院士9人（含双聘院士5人）、海外院士2人，国家级人才84人，省部级人才384人；拥有本硕博完整人才培养体系，56个本科专业，其中国家级一流本科专业建设点5个，国家级特色专业4个，在校全日制学生25000余人。

The university has campuses in Jinan and Tai'an, with the main campus located in the core area of Jinan International Medical Science Center, covering a total area of over 6,000 mu. It also has research institutions in Jinan, Qingdao, Jining and other cities. There are more than 21,000 faculty and staff (including affiliated hospitals), including 9 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering (5 double-employed), 2 overseas academicians, 84 national-level talents, and 384 provincial-level talents. It has a complete talent training system covering bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs, offering 56 undergraduate majors, including 5 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 4 national characteristic majors, with over 25,000 full-time students.
