山东文化产业职业学院是2009年经山东省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，由大众报业集团投资举办的全日制普通高职院校，是山东省第一所专门为文化产业发展培养高素质技术技能人才的综合性高职院校。学校办学地址为莱西市学院路1号。为积极响应山东省新旧动能转换号召，更好地满足学校快速发展需要，2018年经上级主管部门批准，学校由烟台蓬莱迁往青岛莱西，新校区由同济大学规划设计，总规划用地4260亩，总投资56亿元，2022年迁址新建工程项目被列入山东省重大实施类项目名单。

Shandong Cultural Industry Vocational College is a full-time public vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2009. Invested by Dazhong Newspaper Group, it is the first comprehensive vocational college in Shandong Province dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the development of cultural industries. The school is located at No. 1 Xueyuan Road, Laixi City. In response to Shandong Province's call for the conversion of old and new kinetic energy and to better meet the needs of the school's rapid development, with the approval of higher authorities in 2018, the college moved from Penglai, Yantai to Laixi, Qingdao. The new campus, planned and designed by Tongji University, covers a total planned area of 4,260 mu with a total investment of 5.6 billion yuan. The relocation and new construction project was included in the list of major implementation projects in Shandong Province in 2022.

学校实施“专家治校、教授治学、文化强校”战略，以“明德约礼、博文创新”为校训，坚持“质量立校、人才强校、特色名校、产业兴校、文化润校”的办学思路。截至2023年9月，已建成30多万平方米现代化教学楼及配套设施，拥有教职工800余人，具有硕士研究生及以上学历的专任教师达38%。学校聚焦青岛24条产业链，打造了新闻传播、交通运营管理服务等省级高水平专业群，先后获山东省教育政务新媒体进步单位等荣誉，当选山东省文化产业发展协会副会长单位。

The college implements the strategy of "governance by experts, academic management by professors, and strengthening the school through culture", with the school motto of "Mingde Yueli, Bowen Innovation", and adheres to the school-running philosophy of "establishing the school by quality, strengthening the school by talents, building a famous school with characteristics, invigorating the school by industry, and moistening the school by culture". As of September 2023, over 300,000 square meters of modern teaching buildings and supporting facilities have been completed, with more than 800 faculty members, among whom 38% of full-time teachers have a master's degree or above. Focusing on Qingdao's 24 industrial chains, the college has built provincial-level high-level professional groups such as journalism and communication, transportation operation and management services. It has successively won honors such as the Progress Unit of Shandong Education Government New Media, and was elected as the vice-chairman unit of Shandong Cultural Industry Development Association.
