山东外事职业大学是经国家教育部批准的全日制本科高校，前身为1999年创建的中外合作山东外事翻译职业学院，2018年12月升格为本科院校，2019年5月更名为现名。学校秉承“中西合璧、知行合一”的校训，以国际化办学为特色，培养外向型高端技能人才，主校区位于威海市国家4A级旅游度假区乳山银滩，另设济南校区，两校区总占地3113亩，建筑总面积85.8万平方米。

Shandong Vocational University of Foreign Affairs is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Its predecessor was the Sino-foreign cooperative Shandong College of Foreign Affairs Translation founded in 1999. It was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in December 2018 and renamed to its current name in May 2019. Adhering to the school motto of "Integration of Chinese and Western, Unity of Knowledge and Action", the university features internationalized education and cultivates high-end foreign-oriented technical talents. The main campus is located in Rushan Silver Beach, a national 4A-level tourist resort in Weihai City, with an additional campus in Jinan. The two campuses cover a total area of 3,113 mu and a total building area of 858,000 square meters.

学校设有外国语学院、国际商学院、人工智能学院等16个教学院部，开设67个本、专科专业，形成文、经、工、管等多学科协调发展格局。教学设施完善，拥有12个实验实训教学中心、227个专业实训室，教学科研仪器设备总值3.2亿元，图书馆馆藏图书453.6万册，各类体育设施齐全，办学条件居全国同类高校前列。

The university has 16 teaching colleges and departments including the School of Foreign Languages, International Business School, and School of Artificial Intelligence, offering 67 undergraduate and junior college programs, forming a coordinated development pattern of multiple disciplines such as liberal arts, economics, engineering, and management. It has well-equipped teaching facilities, including 12 experimental training centers, 227 professional training rooms, with teaching and research equipment worth 320 million yuan. The library has a collection of 4.536 million books, and various sports facilities are complete, with school-running conditions ranking among the top of similar universities in China.

学校注重国际化办学与产教融合，建有215个校外实习实训基地，荣获国家级教学成果奖2项、省级教学成果奖8项，学生在国家级和省级技能大赛中获奖752项。近年来毕业生就业率保持在96.5%以上，2023年首届本科毕业生中160人考取硕士研究生，学校先后获得“全国诚信示范院校”“山东省高等学校教学管理先进集体”等荣誉称号。

The university focuses on internationalized education and integration of industry and education, with 215 off-campus internship and training bases. It has won 2 national teaching achievement awards and 8 provincial teaching achievement awards, and students have won 752 awards in national and provincial skill competitions. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates has remained above 96.5%. Among the first batch of undergraduate graduates in 2023, 160 were admitted to master's programs. The university has successively won honorary titles such as "National Integrity Model College" and "Advanced Collective of Teaching Management in Shandong Colleges and Universities".
