山东信息职业技术学院坐落于世界风筝之都、全国文明城市——山东潍坊，是山东省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的省属公办全日制高等职业院校，隶属于山东省工业和信息化厅，是山东省创立最早、专业最全、规模最大的电子信息类高职院校。学校始建于1985年，原名为山东省潍坊电子工业学校，其前身为创办于1983年的潍坊市电子工业职工中等专业学校，2002年7月独立升格为普通高等职业学校。

Shandong Vocational College of Information Technology is located in Weifang, Shandong, the World Kite Capital and a National Civilized City. It is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, it is the earliest-established, most comprehensive in specialties, and largest-scale higher vocational college specializing in electronic information in Shandong Province. Founded in 1985, the college was originally named Shandong Weifang Electronic Industry School, whose predecessor was Weifang Electronic Industry Workers' Secondary Professional School founded in 1983. It was independently upgraded to a regular higher vocational college in July 2002.

学校现有奎文和滨海两个校区，总占地763536平方米，在校生13500余人。设有电子与通信系、软件与大数据系、数字媒体系、智能制造系、经济与管理系、现代服务系等10个教学系部（院），开设信息安全技术应用、人工智能技术应用、虚拟现实技术应用等36个专业，打造了6个高水平专业群。拥有教职工701人，中高级以上职称教师占专任教师的80%以上，双师型教师占专业课教师的77%以上。

The college has two campuses, Kuiwen and Binhai, covering a total area of 763,536 square meters, with more than 13,500 students. It has 10 teaching departments (colleges) including the Department of Electronics and Communication, Department of Software and Big Data, Department of Digital Media, Department of Intelligent Manufacturing, Department of Economics and Management, and Department of Modern Services. It offers 36 majors such as Information Security Technology Application, Artificial Intelligence Technology Application, and Virtual Reality Technology Application, and has built 6 high-level professional groups. The college has 701 faculty members, with over 80% of full-time teachers holding medium or senior professional titles, and over 77% of professional course teachers being "double-qualified" teachers.

学校是教育部国家示范性软件职业技术学院首批建设单位、部队军士人才培养定点院校和山东省3+2专本贯通培养院校，荣获全国信息产业系统先进集体、山东省职业教育先进集体等荣誉称号。坚持产教融合、校企合作，牵头成立多个行业产教融合共同体，建设4个开放型区域产教融合实践中心，累计培养各类毕业生20000余人，毕业去向落实率持续稳定在96%以上。

The college is one of the first batch of construction units for the National Demonstrative Software Vocational and Technical College of the Ministry of Education, a designated institution for military sergeant talent training, and a Shandong Province "3+2" college-undergraduate贯通培养 institution. It has been awarded honors such as the Advanced Collective of the National Information Industry System and the Advanced Collective of Shandong Vocational Education. Adhering to the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, it has taken the lead in establishing multiple industry-education integration communities and built 4 open regional industry-education integration practice centers. It has cultivated more than 20,000 graduates of various types, with the employment rate remaining stable at over 96%.
