山东青年政治学院是一所公办普通本科高校，学校代码为14277，坐落于山东省济南市历城区经十东路31699号。其前身为1949年创建的山东省团校，1987年改建为山东省青年管理干部学院，2010年经教育部批准正式更名为山东青年政治学院，至今已有75年办学历史。学校以人文社会科学为主，涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、工学、管理学、艺术学7个学科门类，现有53个本科专业，其中4个专业（社会工作、广播电视学、舞蹈编导、播音与主持艺术）获批国家级一流本科专业建设点，12个专业入选山东省一流本科专业建设点，形成了以青年政治人才培养为特色的应用型办学体系。

Shandong Youth University of Political Science is a public ordinary undergraduate university with the school code 14277, located at No. 31699, East Jingshi Road, Licheng District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. Its predecessor was the Shandong Provincial League School founded in 1949, which was restructured into Shandong Youth Administrative Cadre College in 1987 and officially renamed Shandong Youth University of Political Science with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2010, boasting a 75-year history of running a school. Focusing on humanities and social sciences, the university covers 7 disciplines including Economics, Law, Education, Literature, Engineering, Management, and Art, with 53 undergraduate majors. Among them, 4 majors (Social Work, Radio and Television Studies, Choreography, Broadcasting and Hosting Art) have been approved as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 12 majors have been selected as Shandong provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, forming an application-oriented education system featuring the cultivation of young political talents.

学校始终坚持“为党育人、为国育才”初心，传承红色基因，以党建为引领构建了独具特色的“场馆育人体系”，拥有校史馆、西部计划展馆等育人阵地，形成“自加压、共奋进、重实效、争一流”的山青精神。师资力量雄厚，现有教职工938人，其中教授70人，博士学位教师148人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人，全国专业社会工作领军人才2人，泰山学者青年专家2人。注重实践教学，建有10个实践（实验）教学中心、86个实验实训室，图书馆纸质藏书117万册，电子图书323.23GB，为学生提供优质学习资源。近年来，学校获山东省教学成果奖12项，承担国家级科研项目500余项，毕业生初次就业率连续保持在95%以上，是山东省应用型本科高校建设首批支持单位、省级文明校园和红色文化传承示范校。

Adhering to the original aspiration of "Cultivating Talents for the Party and the Country", the university inherits the red gene and has built a unique "venue education system" led by party building, with educational positions such as the school history museum and the Western Plan exhibition hall, forming the spirit of "self-pressure, joint progress, focusing on practical results, and striving for first-class". It has a strong faculty of 938 staff, including 70 professors, 148 teachers with doctoral degrees, 2 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 2 national leading talents in professional social work, and 2 Taishan Scholars young experts. Focusing on practical teaching, it has 10 practice (experimental) teaching centers, 86 experimental training rooms, with 1.17 million paper books and 323.23GB e-books in the library, providing high-quality learning resources for students. In recent years, the university has won 12 Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards, undertaken more than 500 national-level scientific research projects, and the initial employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for consecutive years. It is the first batch of support units for the construction of application-oriented undergraduate universities in Shandong Province, a provincial civilized campus and a demonstration school for red culture inheritance.
