上海立信会计金融学院是一所会计、金融特色鲜明的公办全日制普通高等学校，由原上海立信会计学院和原上海金融学院于2016年6月合并组建而成。学校起源于著名教育家、会计学家、中国现代会计之父潘序伦先生1928年创办的立信教育事业，立信之名源自《论语》“民无信不立”。在近百年的办学历史中，学校被业界誉为“中国现代会计教育的发祥地之一”和“未来金融家摇篮”。

Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher education with distinctive features in accounting and finance. It was established in June 2016 through the merger of the former Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and the former Shanghai Finance University. The university traces its roots to the Lixin education undertaking founded in 1928 by the renowned educator, accountant, and father of modern Chinese accounting, Mr. Pan Xulun. The name "Lixin" originates from the Analects of Confucius, meaning "the people cannot stand without trust." Throughout its nearly century-long history, the university has been praised by the industry as "one of the cradles of modern Chinese accounting education" and "the cradle of future financiers."

学校现有上川路、文翔路和中山西路三个校区，占地面积1200多亩，顾唐路新校区正在建设中。学校是硕士学位授予单位，2011年获得全国首批审计硕士专业学位（MAud）授予权，2022年通过AACSB（国际精英商学院协会）认证，成为境内首家通过该认证的地方财经院校。学校坚持立德树人根本任务，培养具有诚信品质、实践能力、创新意识、国际视野的高素质应用型人才，不断彰显“诚信为本、学验并重”的办学特色。

The university currently has three campuses: Shangchuan Road, Wenxiang Road, and Zhongshan West Road, covering an area of over 1200 mu, with the new Gutang Road campus under construction. It is a master's degree-granting unit, obtaining the first batch of national Auditing Master (MAud) degree authorization in 2011. In 2022, it passed the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation, becoming the first local financial and economic institution in China to receive this accreditation. The university adheres to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, cultivating high-quality applied talents with integrity, practical ability, innovative awareness, and international perspective, and continuously highlights the school-running characteristics of "integrity-based, equal emphasis on learning and practice."

截至2023年4月，学校共有15个二级学院，39个本科专业，拥有2个国家级特色专业，9个国家级一流本科专业建设点，10个上海市级一流本科专业建设点。学校以会计学、金融学为核心，推动经济管理类学科与计算机科学、统计学、法学、文学等学科的深度交叉融合，工商管理、应用经济学分别入选上海高校Ⅰ类、Ⅱ类高原学科，为上海国际金融中心建设和区域经济社会发展培养了大批优秀人才。

As of April 2023, the university has 15 secondary colleges and 39 undergraduate majors, including 2 national-level characteristic majors, 9 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 10 Shanghai municipal-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites. With accounting and finance as the core, the university promotes in-depth interdisciplinary integration of economic management disciplines with computer science, statistics, law, literature, and other disciplines. Business Administration and Applied Economics have been selected as Shanghai Municipal Class Ⅰ and Class Ⅱ Plateau Disciplines respectively, cultivating a large number of outstanding talents for the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center and regional economic and social development.
