苏州职业技术大学（Suzhou Vocational University）是经教育部批准设立的公办本科层次职业学校，前身为创办于1911年的苏州工业专科学校和1912年的江苏省立第二女子师范学校，2025年以苏州市职业大学为基础升格为苏州职业技术大学。学校秉承“勤、勇、忠、信”校训，坚持“与产业共生、与企业共进、与城市共发展”办学理念，培养高层次技术技能人才，着力建设全国一流职业本科学校。

Suzhou Vocational University is a public undergraduate vocational institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Its origins can be traced back to Suzhou Industrial College (founded in 1911) and Jiangsu Provincial No.2 Women's Normal School (founded in 1912). Upgraded from Suzhou Vocational University in 2025, the university adheres to the motto of "Diligence, Courage, Loyalty, Integrity" and the educational philosophy of "Symbiosis with Industries, Co-progress with Enterprises, and Co-development with the City", dedicated to cultivating high-level technical talents and building a first-class national vocational undergraduate university.

学校现有石湖、干将路、潭山、吏舍弄四个校区，占地1262亩，主校区位于苏州国际教育园南区。设有机电工程学院、计算机工程学院等10余个教学单位，构建了覆盖智能制造、信息技术、现代服务等领域的专业体系。拥有吴文化传承与创新研究中心、大运河文旅融合研究基地等科研平台，石湖智库入选中国智库索引（CTTI）来源智库。

The university has four campuses (Shihu, Ganjiang Road, Tanshan, and Lisherenong) covering 1,262 mu, with the Shihu Campus as its main campus located in the Southern District of Suzhou International Education Park. It houses over 10 academic units including the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the School of Computer Engineering, offering programs covering intelligent manufacturing, information technology, and modern services. The university features research platforms such as the Wu Culture Inheritance and Innovation Research Center and the Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Integration Research Base, with the Shihu Think Tank listed in the China Think Tank Index (CTTI).

学校深化产教融合，与亨通集团、博众精工等企业共建现代产业学院，成立东南亚职业教育产教融合联盟、南非亨通智能制造学院等国际合作平台。近五年开展社区教育项目惠及600余万市民，获评教育部“智慧助老”优质工作案例，在江苏高校对外合作与交流高质量发展评价中获A等次，办学案例入选《中国高等职业教育质量年度报告》。

The university promotes industry-education integration by establishing modern industrial colleges with enterprises like Hengtong Group and Bozhong Precision. It has also set up international cooperation platforms including the Southeast Asia Vocational Education Industry-Education Integration Alliance and the South Africa Hengtong Intelligent Manufacturing College. Over the past five years, its community education programs have benefited over 6 million citizens, earning recognition as an excellent case of "Smart Aging Support" by the Ministry of Education. Ranked Grade A in Jiangsu Province's higher education internationalization evaluation, its educational practices have been included in the "Annual Report on the Quality of China's Higher Vocational Education".
