四川文理学院（Sichuan University of Arts and Science）是一所位于四川省达州市的省属普通本科院校，办学文脉可溯及清末龙山书院，1976年开始举办高等教育，时称达县师范学院，2006年经教育部批准升格为本科高校并更为现名。学校是川东地区唯一省管普通本科高校，2016年被确定为四川省高校整体转型发展试点单位，2018年被增列为四川省硕士学位授权立项建设单位，2023年入选四川省高等学校“双一流”建设计划。

Sichuan University of Arts and Science is a provincial public undergraduate university located in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. Its educational heritage can be traced back to the Longshan Academy in the late Qing Dynasty. It began offering higher education in 1976 as Daxian Teachers' College and was renamed to its current name in 2006 after being approved by the Ministry of Education to升格为 undergraduate level. It is the only provincial undergraduate university in eastern Sichuan, designated as a pilot unit for overall transformation and development of Sichuan provincial universities in 2016, added as a project construction unit for master's degree authorization in Sichuan Province in 2018, and included in the "Double First-Class" construction plan of Sichuan provincial universities in 2023.

学校现有莲湖、南坝两个校区，占地面积1300余亩，校舍建筑面积41.79万平方米，馆藏纸质图书156万余册。设有22个二级学院、59个本科专业，涵盖文、理、工、经、管、史、法、教、艺、医等十大学科门类，化学工程与技术学科入选四川省“双一流”建设贡嘎计划建设学科。现有全日制在校生2万余人，教职工1200余人，其中专任教师943人，正副高级专业技术职务人员329人。

The university has two campuses, Lianhu and Nanba, covering an area of over 1,300 mu with a building area of 417,900 square meters and a collection of more than 1.56 million paper books. It has 22 secondary colleges and 59 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines including arts, science, engineering, economics, management, history, law, education, art, and medicine. The discipline of Chemical Engineering and Technology was selected into the "Double First-Class" Construction Gongga Plan of Sichuan Province. Currently, it has over 20,000 full-time students and more than 1,200 faculty members, including 943 full-time teachers and 329 with senior professional titles.

学校坚持“立足川东、服务四川、面向全国”的办学定位，以培养“三心四能五复合”高素质应用型人才为目标，实施红色文化育人工程和创新创业教育计划，近五年累计立项国家级创新创业训练计划项目224项。毕业生就业去向落实率连续多年超过全省平均水平，用人单位满意度达97%以上，先后荣获“全国创新创业典型经验高校”“四川省文明校园”等称号。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "Based in Eastern Sichuan, Serving Sichuan, Facing the Whole Country", the university aims to cultivate high-quality applied talents with "Three Hearts, Four Abilities and Five Composites". It implements the red culture education project and innovation and entrepreneurship education plan, with 224 national-level innovation and entrepreneurship training program projects approved in the past five years. The employment rate of graduates has exceeded the provincial average for many consecutive years, with employer satisfaction reaching over 97%. It has successively won titles such as "National Model University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" and "Civilized Campus of Sichuan Province".
