长治职业技术学院是经山西省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案、长治市人民政府举办并管理的公办全日制专科层次高等职业院校，于2000年9月由原长治职工大学、晋东南煤矿学校、长治农业学校合并组建而成。学校现有3个校区，共占地319亩，下设机械电子工程系、能源与安全工程系、信息工程系等12个教学系部，构建了涵盖农林牧渔、装备制造、电子信息、财经商贸等11大类50个专业（方向）的专业体系，形成与区域产业紧密对接的专业群。

Changzhi Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Shanxi Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored and managed by the People's Government of Changzhi City. It was established in September 2000 through the merger of the former Changzhi Workers' University, Jindongnan Coal Mine School, and Changzhi Agricultural School. The college has 3 campuses covering a total area of 319 mu, with 12 teaching departments including the Department of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Department of Energy and Safety Engineering, and Department of Information Engineering. It has constructed a professional system covering 50 majors (directions) in 11 categories such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and finance and trade, forming professional groups closely connected with regional industries.

学院教学科研仪器设备总值近5000万元，拥有校内外实习实训基地100余个，校内专业实训室55个。现有教职工443人，其中专任教师339人，高级职称118人，双师型教师168人，全日制硕士研究生学历以上62人。近年来，学院深化产教融合，与山西三建集团、成功集团等骨干企业开展深度合作，毕业生就业率和社会满意度保持较高水平，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批应用型技术技能人才。

The total value of the college's teaching and research instruments and equipment is nearly 50 million yuan, with more than 100 off-campus and on-campus internship and training bases, and 55 on-campus professional training rooms. There are 443 faculty members, including 339 full-time teachers, 118 with senior professional titles, 168 double-qualified teachers, and 62 with full-time master's degree or above. In recent years, the college has deepened the integration of industry and education, carried out in-depth cooperation with key enterprises such as Shanxi Sanjian Group and Chenggong Group, maintaining a high employment rate and social satisfaction for graduates, and has cultivated a large number of applied technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
