山西工程科技职业大学坐落于山西省高校新校园区，办学历史可追溯至20世纪50年代。经教育部、山西省人民政府批准，整合原山西大学商务学院、山西交通职业技术学院、山西建筑职业技术学院办学资源，于2021年3月正式挂牌成立，是全国首批公办职业本科大学。学校是全国文明单位、国家示范性骨干院校、全国高校毕业生就业典型经验50强、全国高校毕业生就业能力培训基地、全国首批职业院校数字校园建设试点单位，同时荣获省文明校园先进学校、省平安校园先进单位等称号。

Shanxi Vocational University of Engineering Science and Technology is located in the new university campus area of Shanxi Province, with its educational history dating back to the 1950s. Approved by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shanxi Province, it was officially established in March 2021 through the integration of the educational resources of the former Business College of Shanxi University, Shanxi Vocational and Technical College of Communications, and Shanxi Vocational and Technical College of Architecture. It is one of the first public vocational undergraduate universities in China. The university is a National Civilized Unit, a National Demonstrative Key Vocational College, one of the Top 50 National Colleges with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment, a National Training Base for College Graduates' Employment Ability, and one of the first pilot units for digital campus construction in vocational colleges. It has also been awarded titles such as Advanced School of Provincial Civilized Campus and Advanced Unit of Provincial Safe Campus.

学校占地面积1122亩，建筑面积74万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值3.39亿元，馆藏图书312万册，在校生3万余名。专业特色鲜明，主动融入教育强国、教育强省大局，紧密聚焦区域重点产业集群和高端产业发展，重点建设建筑工程、道路与桥梁工程、古建筑工程、工程管理、新能源汽车、智能制造、信息工程等为主的14个特色专业（群）。现有二级学院20个，职业本科专业42个、专科专业40个，其中国家级重点建设和试点专业11个、省级重点与示范专业12个、省级特色专业群3个、省级品牌专业5个、山西省“1331工程”重点学科建设项目1个，国家级在线精品课程4门、“十四五”国家规划教材28部、全国优秀教材奖1部、全国现场工程师培养项目1个、省级专业教学资源库3个、省级在线精品课程12门、省级职教金课45门、省级教改项目34项。

The university covers an area of 1,122 mu (about 748,000 square meters) with a building area of 740,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 339 million yuan, the library has a collection of 3.12 million books, and there are more than 30,000 students. It has distinct professional characteristics, actively integrating into the overall situation of building a strong education country and province, and closely focusing on regional key industrial clusters and high-end industrial development. It focuses on building 14 characteristic majors (groups) mainly including Architectural Engineering, Road and Bridge Engineering, Ancient Architecture Engineering, Engineering Management, New Energy Vehicles, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Information Engineering. There are 20 secondary colleges, 42 vocational undergraduate majors, and 40 junior college majors. Among them, there are 11 national key construction and pilot majors, 12 provincial key and demonstration majors, 3 provincial characteristic professional groups, 5 provincial brand majors, and 1 key discipline construction project of Shanxi Province's "1331 Project". It also has 4 national online quality courses, 28 national planning textbooks for the "14th Five-Year Plan", 1 National Excellent Textbook Award, 1 National Field Engineer Training Project, 3 provincial professional teaching resource databases, 12 provincial online quality courses, 45 provincial vocational education golden courses, and 34 provincial teaching reform projects.

师资力量雄厚，实施人才强校战略，大力弘扬教育家精神，建立一支师德高尚、业务精湛、潜心职教、结构合理、充满活力的教师队伍。现有教职工1753人，其中专任教师1340人、高级职称教师575人、博士教师155人、“双师型”教师798人。现有国家级职业教育教学创新团队1个、全国首批教师实践流动站1个、全国新时代职业学校名师（名匠）名校长培养项目1项、省级创新教学团队4个、省级名师工作室7个、省级技能大师工作室2个、省级紧缺领域教师技术技能传承创新平台5个，全国技术能手2人、省教育系统模范教师1人、省级职业教学名师6人、三晋技术能手5人、三晋英才3人。荣获省级教学能力奖项19项、省级教学成果奖项13项。

产教融合深入，坚持以教促产、以产助教、产教科融合、产学研合作，构建了现场工程师培养、订单培养等多元育人模式，搭建起两翼引领的多维产教融合平台，政行企校协同更加紧密。与中建、京东、宝马等多家知名企业和山西建投、山西交控、华远陆港等龙头企业共建校内外实习实训基地700余个；获批国家（省）级现代学徒制试点7个、省级市域产教联合体2个、省级行业产教融合共同体3个、省级特色产业学院4个、省级虚拟仿真实训中心1个、省级产教融合实训基地（高水平实训基地）5个、省级校企合作典型生产实践项目2个。道路交通实训基地建设案例入选国家发改委职业教育产教融合典型案例50强，数字校园案例入选教育部职业教育数字化转型典型案例。

The university has in-depth industry-education integration, adhering to promoting industry through education, supporting education through industry, integrating industry, education and research, and cooperating in industry-university-research. It has built a diversified education model such as on-site engineer training and order-based training, built a multi-dimensional industry-education integration platform led by two wings, and strengthened the collaboration between government, industry, enterprises and the university. It has jointly built more than 700 on-campus and off-campus internship and training bases with many well-known enterprises such as China State Construction Engineering Corporation, JD.com, BMW, and leading enterprises such as Shanxi Construction Investment, Shanxi Transportation Control, and Huayuan Lugang; approved 7 national (provincial) modern apprenticeship pilots, 2 provincial municipal industry-education consortia, 3 provincial industry-education integration communities, 4 provincial characteristic industrial colleges, 1 provincial virtual simulation training center, 5 provincial industry-education integration training bases (high-level training bases), and 2 provincial typical production practice projects of school-enterprise cooperation. The construction case of the road traffic training base was selected into the top 50 typical cases of industry-education integration in vocational education by the National Development and Reform Commission, and the digital campus case was selected into the typical cases of digital transformation of vocational education by the Ministry of Education.

研发服务强劲，注重科研创新研发与社会服务，努力打造服务山西产业转型升级的才智引擎，社会服务稳步提升。获批国家级科研项目3项、省级科研项目446项，获批专利157项、实现专利成果转化119.7万元，发表核心期刊论文470篇。科研经费达到3238.33万元，增长10倍以上。独立获批建设省级各类研究中心6个，与行业企业合作建设研究中心2个。持续提升社会服务质量，近年来，累计为行业企业培训8万人次，社会培训总额达1.3亿元。

The university has strong R&D services, focusing on scientific research innovation and social services, striving to build an intellectual engine serving the industrial transformation and upgrading of Shanxi, and social services have steadily improved. It has obtained 3 national-level scientific research projects, 446 provincial-level scientific research projects, 157 patents, realized patent achievement transformation of 1.197 million yuan, and published 470 core journal papers. The scientific research funds reached 32.3833 million yuan, an increase of more than 10 times. It has independently obtained approval to build 6 provincial-level research centers of various types and 2 research centers in cooperation with industry enterprises. Continuously improving the quality of social services, in recent years, it has trained 80,000 person-times for industry enterprises, with a total social training amount of 130 million yuan.
