陕西工业职业技术大学创建于1950年，1999年作为西北地区首家改制升格为高职学院，2010年与陕西纺织服装职业技术学院合并，2025年正式升格为职业技术大学。学校扎根西部装备制造业，践行"明德、笃学、精艺、强身"校训，75年来培养各类技术人才18万余名，是国家"双高计划"A档建设院校、全国文明单位和职业教育先进单位。

Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute was founded in 1950, became the first vocational college in Northwest China through restructuring in 1999, merged with Shaanxi Textile & Garment Institute in 2010, and was upgraded to a vocational and technical university in 2025. Rooted in western China's equipment manufacturing industry, the university has followed the motto "Virtue, Learning, Craftsmanship, Health" and trained over 180,000 technical talents in 75 years. It is a national "Double High-Level Plan" Class A construction institution, National Civilized Unit, and Advanced Unit in Vocational Education.

学校现有渭城、经开、高新三个校区，全日制在校生19556人，设16个教学院部，开设67个专业（含6个本科专业），形成以装备制造为特色，工、经、管、文等多学科协调发展的专业体系。拥有国家级实训基地18个、藏书236万册的图书馆，以及由98名教授、495名副高职称教师组成的"双师型"师资队伍。

The university has three campuses (Weicheng, Jingkai, Gaoxin) with 19,556 full-time students and 16 academic colleges, offering 67 programs including 6 undergraduate majors. It has developed a multidisciplinary system with equipment manufacturing as its特色, coordinated with engineering, economics, management and arts. The university boasts 18 national-level training bases, a library with 2.36 million books, and a "double-qualified" faculty team comprising 98 professors and 495 associate senior professionals.

作为西部职教标杆，学校2019年入选国家"双高计划"A档（全国前十），2023-2024年连续位列软科全国高职理工类榜首。通过"一校三区"产教融合布局，与700余家企业共建实训基地，其"柔性玻璃"等科研成果转化案例被《人民日报》报道，形成了"扎根产业、精技强校"的办学特色。

As a vocational education benchmark in western China, it was selected into the national "Double High-Level Plan" Class A (top 10 nationwide) in 2019 and ranked first in the Soft Science National Vocational College Rankings for science and engineering in 2023-2024. Through its "three campuses" integration model, the university has built training bases with over 700 enterprises. Its achievements like "flexible glass" technology transfer were reported by People's Daily, embodying the educational philosophy of "rooted in industry, strengthened by craftsmanship".
