山西经贸职业学院（山西经济管理干部学院）是1984年经山西省人民政府批准成立的本科建制干部教育培训院校、公办高等职业院校，2008年1月经省政府批准在山西经济管理干部学院基础上增设山西经贸职业学院，实行一套班子、两块牌子、南北校区两地办学。学院由山西省人民政府领导，山西省教育厅主管，是省委组织部确定的全省干部教育培训“一校两院四基地”之一，国家首批1+X证书制度试点院校、第三批现代学徒制试点校、山西省示范高职院校。

Shanxi Vocational College of Economic and Trade (Shanxi Institute of Economic Management) is an undergraduate-level cadre education and training institution and a public higher vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government in 1984. In January 2008, with the approval of the provincial government, Shanxi Vocational College of Economic and Trade was added on the basis of Shanxi Institute of Economic Management, implementing a system of "one leadership team, two nameplates, and two campuses (north and south)". Led by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and supervised by the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education, the college is one of the "One School, Two Institutes and Four Bases" for provincial cadre education and training designated by the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department. It is also a national first-batch 1+X certificate system pilot institution, a third-batch modern apprenticeship pilot school, and a demonstration higher vocational college in Shanxi Province.

学院占地407亩，总建筑面积18.04万平方米，设有1院7系4部共12个教学单位，开设41个高职专业，在校生9000余人，年培训企业人才万余名。拥有中央财政支持重点建设专业2个、实训基地1个，省级高水平专业等32个，1+X试点证书专业32个；校内实践教学基地57个，校外实习实训基地126个；专任教师350人，其中高级职称98人，双师型教师148人，三晋英才6名。近5年师生获国家级教学技能竞赛二等奖1项、省级奖项36项，完成国家级课题1项、省级课题72项，持有有效专利24项。

The college covers an area of 407 mu with a total construction area of 180,400 square meters. It has 12 teaching units including 1 institute, 7 departments and 4 divisions, offering 41 higher vocational majors, with over 9,000 students and training over 10,000 enterprise talents annually. It has 2 key construction majors and 1 training base supported by central finance, 32 provincial-level high-level majors, 32 majors with 1+X pilot certificates, 57 on-campus practical teaching bases, and 126 off-campus internship and training bases. There are 350 full-time teachers, including 98 with senior professional titles, 148 dual-qualified teachers, and 6 "Sanjin Talents". In the past 5 years, teachers and students have won 1 national second prize and 36 provincial awards in teaching skills competitions, completed 1 national project and 72 provincial projects, and hold 24 valid patents.
