山西同文职业技术学院是经山西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的民办高等职业院校，成立于2004年5月，位于晋商之乡、三贤故里——山西省介休市。学院秉持“立足介休、服务山西、辐射全国”的办学理念，专注培养高素质技能人才，现设七系两部两中心共十一个教学系部，开设护理、铁道工程技术、大数据与会计等35个专业，形成以医学、工程、经管为特色的专业体系。

Shanxi Tongwen Vocational and Technical College is a private higher vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in May 2004, it is located in Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, known as the hometown of Jin merchants and the birthplace of three sages. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "rooted in Jiexiu, serving Shanxi, and radiating the whole country", the college focuses on cultivating high-quality technical talents. It now has 11 teaching departments including seven departments, two divisions, and two centers, offering 35 majors such as Nursing, Railway Engineering Technology, and Big Data and Accounting, forming a professional system featuring medicine, engineering, and economics and management.

学院占地20余万平方米，建筑面积近10万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值超1900万元，馆藏图书35万余册。建有48个校内实验实训场所和81个校外实习基地，配备智慧教室、多媒体语音室等现代化教学设施，全日制在校生达8600余人。教职工407人中，副高级以上职称46人，研究生学历96人，形成一支结构合理的“双师型”教师队伍。

The college covers an area of more than 200,000 square meters with a building area of nearly 100,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment exceeds 19 million yuan, and the library has more than 350,000 books. It has 48 on-campus experimental training sites and 81 off-campus internships bases, equipped with modern teaching facilities such as smart classrooms and multimedia language labs. The number of full-time students reaches over 8,600. Among the 407 faculty members, 46 have senior professional titles or above, and 96 have postgraduate degrees, forming a well-structured "double-qualified" teaching team.

学院地处介休市北坛西路，东临平遥古城，西接汾河之畔，交通便捷，环境宜人。先后荣获“全国民办高等教育优秀单位”“山西省高等教育示范实训基地”等称号，护理专业被评为省级特色专业，办学声誉和社会影响力持续提升，为区域经济社会发展输送了大量技术技能人才。

Located on Beitan West Road, Jiexiu City, the college is adjacent to Pingyao Ancient City in the east and the Fenhe River in the west, enjoying convenient transportation and a pleasant environment. It has successively won titles such as "National Excellent Private Higher Education Institution" and "Shanxi Provincial Higher Education Demonstration Training Base". The Nursing major has been rated as a provincial characteristic major. With continuously improving school-running reputation and social influence, the college has cultivated a large number of technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
