山西运城农业职业技术学院是经山西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等农业职业技术学院，前身为始建于1951年的运城农校，2004年升格为高职院校，是山西省唯一的农业类高职院校。学校位于运城市红旗东街46号，以"立足农字特色、培养实用人才"为办学定位，开设园艺技术、畜牧兽医、食品检验检测技术等30余个专业，其中现代农业经济管理、畜牧兽医等为省级重点专业。

Shanxi Yuncheng Agricultural Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher agricultural vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Yuncheng Agricultural School founded in 1951, and it was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004, being the only agricultural vocational college in Shanxi Province. Located at No. 46 Hongqi East Street, Yuncheng City, the college adheres to the orientation of "based on agricultural characteristics and cultivating practical talents", offering over 30 majors including Horticultural Technology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Food Inspection and Testing Technology, among which Modern Agricultural Economic Management and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine are provincial key majors.

学校现有在校生6000余人，教职工300余人，建有34个校内实训室和21个校外实训基地，教学仪器设备总值超千万元。近年来深化"岗课赛证"综合育人模式，连续承办山西省职业院校技能大赛，获省级以上教学成果奖12项。依托千亩实习农场和"三农服务中心"，年均开展农业技术培训超4000人次，为区域乡村振兴培养了大批留得住、用得上的技术人才。

The college has over 6,000 students and more than 300 faculty members, with 34 on-campus training rooms and 21 off-campus training bases, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment exceeding 10 million yuan. In recent years, it has deepened the "post-course-competition-certificate" integrated education model, continuously hosted Shanxi Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition, and won 12 teaching achievement awards at or above the provincial level. Relying on the 1,000-mu practice farm and "Three Rural Services Center", it annually carries out over 4,000 person-times of agricultural technical training, cultivating a large number of technical talents who can stay and be useful for regional rural revitalization.
