山西职业技术学院是一所隶属于山西省教育厅的全日制普通高等职业技术院校，是国家优质高等职业院校、国家示范性骨干高职院校、教育部首批现代学徒制试点院校及中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划（“双高计划”）立项建设院校。学院由原山西省建材工业学校、山西省电子工业学校和山西省物流技术学校合并升格而成，现有坞城、南中环、长风、榆次四个校区，面向新一代信息技术、智能制造、现代物流等领域开设60余个专业，其中国家级“双高计划”建设专业群1个（大数据技术与应用），国家级骨干校重点建设专业4个，全日制在校生1.5万余人。

Shanxi Polytechnic College is a full-time public higher vocational college affiliated to the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education. It is recognized as a National High-Quality Vocational College, a National Demonstrative Key Vocational College, one of the first pilot institutions for the modern apprenticeship system by the Ministry of Education, and a project institution of the "Double-High Plan" (China's high-level vocational schools and professional groups construction plan). Merged from the former Shanxi Building Materials Industry School, Shanxi Electronic Industry School, and Shanxi Logistics Technology School, the college has four campuses (Wucheng, Nanzhonghuan, Changfeng, and Yuci). It offers over 60 majors covering new-generation information technology, intelligent manufacturing, modern logistics, etc., including 1 national-level "Double-High Plan" professional group (Big Data Technology and Application), 4 national key construction majors for backbone vocational schools, with more than 15,000 full-time students.

学院师资力量雄厚，现有教职工780余人，其中专任教师640余人，高级职称教师占比27%，“双师型”教师占比60%，拥有国家级职业教育教师教学创新团队2个、省级团队4个。学院注重产教融合与实践教学，建有国家级协同创新中心、中央财政支持实训基地及省级高水平实训基地，与太钢集团、华为等160余家企业建立校企合作关系，获评全国职业院校产教融合50强，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college boasts a strong teaching faculty of over 780 staff, including more than 640 full-time teachers, with 27% holding senior titles and 60% being "dual-qualified" teachers (combining academic expertise and industry experience). It has 2 national-level vocational education teacher innovation teams and 4 provincial-level teams. Focusing on industry-education integration and practical teaching, the college has established national-level collaborative innovation centers, central finance-supported training bases, and provincial high-level training bases. It has partnered with over 160 enterprises such as Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group and Huawei, ranking among the top 50 national vocational colleges for industry-education integration. With an employment rate exceeding 95% for graduates in recent years, the college has cultivated numerous high-quality technical talents for regional economic and social development.
