绍兴职业技术学院创建于1999年，是浙江省较早独立设置的高职院校之一，地处历史文化名城绍兴。学校以“守正创新”为校训，秉持“教育为人生奠基，办改变人一生的教育”的办学宗旨，以“专业成才，精神成人”为培养目标，遵循“品性为根，技术技能为用”的育人方针，立德树人，追求办品质之学，为2023软科中国民办高职院校排名榜首学校、浙江省普通高校首批示范性创业学院、浙江省高职高水平专业群(A类)建设单位、浙江省现代学徒制试点单位。

Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College was founded in 1999 and is one of the earliest independent higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province, located in the famous historical and cultural city of Shaoxing. With the school motto of "Upholding Integrity and Innovation", the college adheres to the educational philosophy of "Education lays the foundation for life and provides education that changes one's life", aiming to cultivate students to "achieve professional success and spiritual maturity". Following the educational policy of "Character as the Root, Technical Skills as the Application", it fosters virtue and pursues quality education. It ranked first in the 2023 Soft Science China Private Higher Vocational Colleges Ranking, and is among the first batch of demonstrative entrepreneurship colleges in Zhejiang Province, a construction unit of high-level professional groups (Class A) in Zhejiang higher vocational colleges, and a pilot unit of modern apprenticeship in Zhejiang Province.

校园占地面积512亩，建筑面积28万平方米，全日制在校生14000余人。历届毕业生就业率均在98%以上，2018届毕业生用人单位满意度、毕业生就业满意度、毕业生起薪等核心指标分别列全省高职院校第3位、第6位、第10位。学校设有信息工程学院、范蠡商学院、机电工程与交通学院、建筑与设计艺术学院、医学院、阳明学院等6个二级学院，开设计算机应用技术、电子商务、智能制造、现代住建、轨道交通、文化创意、健康医养、学前教育等8个专业群36个专业，其中计算机应用技术专业群、电子商务专业群入选浙江省高职高水平专业群建设名单。

The campus covers an area of 512 mu (about 341,333 square meters) with a building area of 280,000 square meters, and has more than 14,000 full-time students. The employment rate of graduates over the years has exceeded 98%. For the 2018 graduates, key indicators such as employer satisfaction, graduate employment satisfaction, and starting salary ranked 3rd, 6th, and 10th respectively among higher vocational colleges in the province. The college has 6 secondary colleges, including the School of Information Engineering, Fan Li Business School, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Transportation, School of Architecture and Design Arts, School of Medicine, and Yangming College. It offers 36 majors in 8 professional groups, such as Computer Application Technology, E-Commerce, Intelligent Manufacturing, Modern Housing Construction, Rail Transit, Cultural Creativity, Health Care, and Preschool Education. Among them, the Computer Application Technology professional group and the E-Commerce professional group have been included in the list of high-level professional group construction in Zhejiang higher vocational colleges.

现有国家级骨干专业2个、省优势（特色）专业9个、省重点专业1个，首批国家级职业教育教师教学创新团队1个，国家级双师型教师培养培训基地1个，国家级生产性实训基地3个。学校以“学业、产业、就业、创业”四业贯通为人才培养特色，先后获国家教学成果奖二等奖2项，省高等教育教学成果奖一等奖2项、二等奖5项。深化校企合作、产教融合，社会服务卓有成效，现有浙江省通用砂浆研究院、浙江省建筑业现代化绍兴产业学院等32个研究机构与社会服务平台，在信息技术、智能制造、文创旅游等领域的研究和服务成效显著。

It currently has 2 national-level key majors, 9 provincial-level advantageous (characteristic) majors, 1 provincial-level key major, the first batch of national-level vocational education teacher teaching innovation teams, 1 national-level training base for double-qualified teachers, and 3 national-level productive training bases. The college features talent cultivation through the integration of "academic studies, industry, employment, and entrepreneurship", and has successively won 2 second prizes of the National Teaching Achievement Award, 2 first prizes and 5 second prizes of the Zhejiang Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. Deepening school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration, it has achieved remarkable social services, with 32 research institutions and social service platforms such as Zhejiang General Mortar Research Institute and Zhejiang Construction Modernization Shaoxing Industry College, achieving significant results in research and services in fields such as information technology, intelligent manufacturing, and cultural and creative tourism.

The college strengthens Party leadership, focuses on cultural education, and guides students to achieve diverse success. Two Party building characteristic projects were selected into the first batch of the provincial college Party building "Double Hundred Demonstration" project, two Party branches were awarded as national model Party branches for college Party building work, two general Party branches were awarded as provincial benchmark departments for college Party building work, and three Party branches were awarded as provincial model Party branches for college Party building work. Centering on core values, it advocates "each values its own beauty, and all beauties flourish together", creating cultural activity carriers such as "Hechang Book Bar" and "Yonghe Research Bar".
