沈阳师范大学是辽宁省人民政府举办并管理的省属重点大学，位于辽宁省沈阳市，是一所以师范教育为特色，涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、艺术学等十大学科门类的多科性大学。学校始建于1951年，前身为东北教育学院，1953年更名为沈阳师范学院，1965年更名为辽宁第一师范学院，1978年恢复沈阳师范学院校名，2002年更名为沈阳师范大学。

Shenyang Normal University is a key provincial university run and managed by the People's Government of Liaoning Province. Located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, it is a multidisciplinary university with teacher education as its特色 (tè sè, characteristic), covering ten disciplines including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, and art. The university was founded in 1951, formerly known as Northeast Institute of Education. It was renamed Shenyang Normal College in 1953, Liaoning First Normal College in 1965, restored to the name Shenyang Normal College in 1978, and renamed Shenyang Normal University in 2002.

学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，着力培养高素质应用型人才。现有全日制本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生和留学生2万余人，设有26个学院，77个本科专业。拥有国家重点学科1个，国家一流本科专业建设点26个，省级重点学科18个，省级一流本科专业建设点25个。

The university has always adhered to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and strived to cultivate high-quality applied talents. Currently, it has over 20,000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students and international students, with 26 colleges and 77 undergraduate majors. It has 1 national key discipline, 26 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 18 provincial key disciplines, and 25 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites.
