沈阳城市学院是在中国改革开放大潮中诞生的一所新型大学，始建于2001年，前身为沈阳大学科技工程学院，2013年经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办普通本科高等学校，更名为沈阳城市学院。学校位于辽宁省沈阳市苏家屯区梧桐大街2号，校园坐落于风景秀丽的绿岛森林公园内，背依凤凰山，环抱绿岛湖，被誉为“中国最美丽的大学校园之一”。

Shenyang City University is a new type of university born in the tide of China's reform and opening up. Founded in 2001, its predecessor was the College of Science and Technology Engineering of Shenyang University. In 2013, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an independently established private ordinary undergraduate university and renamed Shenyang City University. The university is located at No. 2 Wutong Avenue, Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The campus is located in the beautiful Green Island Forest Park, backed by Fenghuang Mountain and surrounded by Green Island Lake, known as "one of the most beautiful university campuses in China".

学校面向城市未来，服务城市发展，以培养具有健全人格、创新意识、国际视野、职业能力的高素质应用型人才为不懈追求。设有智能与工程学院、文化与传播学院、影视与艺术学院、商学院等多个院系，涵盖理、工、医、经、管、文、法、艺术8个学科门类45个本科专业，形成了人工智能与智能制造、BIM技术与智慧建筑、生命信息与健康管理等特色学科领域。

Facing the future of the city and serving urban development, the university unremittingly pursues to cultivate high-quality applied talents with sound personality, innovative awareness, international vision and professional ability. It has multiple faculties such as the School of Intelligence and Engineering, the School of Culture and Communication, the School of Film and Television Arts, and the School of Business, covering 8 disciplines including science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, literature, law and art, with 45 undergraduate majors. It has formed characteristic disciplinary fields such as artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, BIM technology and smart architecture, and life information and health management.

作为辽宁省首批应用型转型发展试点高校、“一带一路”高校联盟成员，学校融入全球教育体系，与曼彻斯特大学、布里斯托大学等海外高校合作开设硕士预科课程，为学生提供国际化升学通道。先后荣获“中国最具办学特色本科院校”“辽宁省文明校园”等称号，在艾瑞深校友会网中国民办大学排行榜中位列第六名，被评为“中国顶尖民办大学”。

As one of the first pilot universities for application-oriented transformation and development in Liaoning Province and a member of the "the Belt and Road" University Alliance, the university has integrated into the global education system and cooperated with overseas universities such as the University of Manchester and the University of Bristol to offer pre-master's courses, providing students with an international升学 channel. It has successively won titles such as "China's Most Characteristic Undergraduate College" and "Liaoning Provincial Civilized Campus". It ranks sixth in the艾瑞深校友会网 Chinese Private University Rankings and is rated as "China's Top Private University".
