沈阳化工大学为省属本科高校，始建于1952年，时名沈阳化学工业技术学校，1958年组建沈阳化工学院，1960年更名为辽宁科学技术大学，1978年恢复沈阳化工学院建制，2010年更为现名。学校位于沈阳经济技术开发区，占地面积约1425亩，建筑面积55万平方米，现有专任教师1028人，在校生1.8万人，一级学科博士点1个、硕士点14个、专业学位硕士点8个，本科专业61个（国家一流专业建设点16个，省一流专业建设点32个，通过工程教育认证专业15个）。

Shenyang University of Chemical Technology is a provincial undergraduate university, founded in 1952 as Shenyang Chemical Industry Technical School. It was reorganized into Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology in 1958, renamed Liaoning University of Science and Technology in 1960, restored to Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology in 1978, and adopted its current name in 2010. Located in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the university covers an area of about 1,425 mu with a building area of 550,000 square meters. It has 1,028 full-time teachers and 18,000 students, including 1 first-level discipline doctoral program, 14 master's programs, 8 professional master's programs, and 61 undergraduate majors (16 national first-class professional construction sites, 32 provincial first-class professional construction sites, and 15 programs accredited by engineering education).
