朔州职业技术学院是2007年经山西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高职专科院校，其前身为1957年创办的山西省朔州农业学校。学院坐落于朔州市区西南角，校园占地面积37万平方米，建筑面积15.3万平方米，绿化面积15万平方米，是一所园林式现代化高职院校，2021年被教育部确定为全国急救教育试点学校。

Shuozhou Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2007. Its predecessor is Shanxi Shuozhou Agricultural School founded in 1957. Located in the southwest corner of Shuozhou urban area, the college covers an area of 370,000 square meters, with a building area of 153,000 square meters and a green area of 150,000 square meters. It is a garden-style modern vocational college and was identified as a national first-aid education pilot school by the Ministry of Education in 2021.

学院现有医护系、生物工程系、能源与资源工程系、社会管理工程系四个教学系，开设专业20个，其中包括省特色专业1个、央财支持专业2个、省重点专业3个。学院师资力量雄厚，现有在岗教职员工206人，专任教师169人，其中副高职称以上60人，双师素质专任教师104人，拥有国家级教学名师、省级学科带头人等各类优秀人才。教学科研仪器设备价值4700万元，实验实训室102个，图书馆藏纸质书25.5万册，为学生提供了优良的教学和实践环境。

The college has four teaching departments: Medical and Nursing Department, Bioengineering Department, Energy and Resources Engineering Department, and Social Management Engineering Department, offering 20 majors, including 1 provincial characteristic major, 2 central finance-supported majors, and 3 provincial key majors. The college has a strong faculty, with 206 in-service staff and 169 full-time teachers, including 60 with associate senior titles or above, 104 full-time teachers with double-qualified quality, and various outstanding talents such as national teaching masters and provincial academic leaders. The value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 47 million yuan, with 102 experimental training rooms and 255,000 paper books in the library, providing an excellent teaching and practice environment for students.
