Tarim Institute of Technology is a private non-profit full-time general undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education, located in Alar City, Xinjiang. Closely aligned with the industrial development needs of the autonomous region and the XPCC, the university has established a discipline system with engineering as the mainstay, coordinated by science, engineering, management, and arts. 学校现有专任教师316人，其中硕士研究生及以上学历教师占比75%，副高及以上职称教师占比40.5%，形成了梯次配备、结构合理的高素质教师队伍。2025年首批开设计算机科学与技术、数据科学与大数据技术、人工智能、电气工程及其自动化等9个本科专业，面向新疆地区招生500人，着力打造信息工程、智能工程、土木工程等特色学科群，深化产教融合，主动融入和服务区域发展大局。

The university has 316 full-time teachers, with 75% holding master's degrees or above and 40.5% having associate senior titles or higher, forming a high-quality teaching team with reasonable structure and echelon configuration. In 2025, it initially offers 9 undergraduate programs including Computer Science and Technology, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Electrical Engineering and Automation, enrolling 500 students in Xinjiang. It focuses on building characteristic discipline clusters such as Information Engineering, Intelligent Engineering, and Civil Engineering, deepening industry-education integration, and actively integrating into and serving regional development.
