天津交通职业学院是经天津市人民政府批准成立的公办综合交通类高等职业院校，始于1953年的交通职业教育。学院是中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划单位、国家骨干高职院校，同时也是交通高等职业教育示范校、天津市高水平示范校，以及教育部信息化试点校和现代学徒制试点建设单位。作为天津地区唯一的公办综合交通类高职院校，学院始终坚持“经营学院、突出特色、服务社会、开拓创新”的办学理念，以服务交通强国和区域经济发展为己任。

Tianjin Transportation Vocational College is a public comprehensive transportation higher vocational college approved by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, originating from transportation vocational education in 1953. It is a construction unit of China's high-level vocational schools and professional construction plan, a national backbone higher vocational college, as well as a demonstration school for transportation higher vocational education, a high-level demonstration school in Tianjin, and a pilot construction unit for informatization and modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education. As the only public comprehensive transportation vocational college in Tianjin, the college always adheres to the school-running philosophy of "managing the college, highlighting characteristics, serving the society, and pioneering innovation", and takes serving the transportation power and regional economic development as its responsibility.

学院主动对接京津冀协同发展等国家战略，开设覆盖交通运输、财经商贸、装备制造等七大专业大类的37个专业，形成以现代物流、交通建设、轨道交通、汽车运用技术等为核心的六大专业群。通过深化产教融合，学院与京东、阿里巴巴、保时捷、天津地铁等800余家企业合作，共建300余个校内外实训基地，并建成奥迪、大众等产业学院，累计培养技能型人才超10万人次，学生在国家级职业技能大赛中获奖65人次。

The college actively aligns with national strategies such as the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, offering 37 majors covering seven major professional categories including transportation, finance and trade, and equipment manufacturing, forming six major professional groups with modern logistics, transportation construction, rail transit, and automotive application technology as the core. Through deepening industry-education integration, the college has cooperated with over 800 enterprises such as JD.com, Alibaba, Porsche, and Tianjin Metro, co-built more than 300 on-campus and off-campus training bases, and established industry colleges such as Audi and Volkswagen. It has trained over 100,000 skilled talents, with students winning 65 awards in national vocational skills competitions.
