天津师范大学津沽学院是经国家教育部批准、按照新型办学模式和运行机制举办的全日制本科层次独立学院。学院于2005年成立并开始招生，坐落于天津师范大学校区内，共享母体校优质教育资源，现有来自全国28个省（区、市）近7000名在校生。

Tianjin Normal University Jingu College is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of China, operating under a new educational model and mechanism. Established in 2005, the college is located within the campus of Tianjin Normal University, sharing high-quality educational resources with its parent university. It currently has nearly 7,000 students from 28 provinces (regions and municipalities) across China.

学院以培养应用型、复合型专门人才为目标，专业设置涵盖文学、理学、工学、管理学、经济学、法学、教育学及艺术学8个学科门类，共30个专业（方向）。依托天津师范大学优质师资，构建了一支由600余名高水平专兼职教师组成的教学团队，其中高级职称教师占比超40%，硕士及以上学历教师占比达60%。

With the goal of cultivating applied and interdisciplinary professionals, the college offers 30 majors (directions) covering 8 disciplines: Literature, Science, Engineering, Management, Economics, Law, Education, and Arts. Relying on the high-quality faculty of Tianjin Normal University, it has built a teaching team of over 600 high-level full-time and part-time teachers, among whom more than 40% have senior professional titles and 60% hold master's degrees or above.

学院坚持"以人为本，从严治校，以就业为导向，以质量求生存，以特色谋发展"的办学理念，注重实践教学与产学研结合，与多家企事业单位建立合作关系。学生在全国大学生数学建模竞赛、广告艺术大赛等赛事中屡获佳绩，毕业生就业率连续多年位居天津市高校前列，累计培养各类人才超11000名。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, strict management, employment-oriented, quality for survival, and characteristics for development", the college emphasizes practical teaching and industry-university-research integration, establishing cooperative relations with many enterprises and institutions. Students have achieved excellent results in national competitions such as the National College Students Mathematical Modeling Competition and Advertising Art Competition. The employment rate of graduates has ranked among the top in Tianjin universities for many years, with a total of over 11,000 talents cultivated.
