Tianjin University of Commerce is a higher education institution with commerce as its main discipline, supported and coordinated by multiple disciplines such as management, economics, engineering, law, literature, science, and art. It is a key university in Tianjin. Founded in 1980, originally named Tianjin Institute of Commerce, it was renamed Tianjin University of Commerce in 2006. 学校设有14个学院和3个教学部，开设59个本科专业，涵盖8个学科门类。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点21个，国家级特色专业5个，省级一流本科专业建设点17个。学校现有全日制在校生近2.3万人，其中本科生1.9万余人，硕士研究生3600余人，留学生300余人。教职工1500余人，其中具有高级职称的教师600余人，博士生导师、硕士生导师400余人。

The university has 14 colleges and 3 teaching departments, offering 59 undergraduate majors covering 8 disciplines. It has 21 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 5 national characteristic majors, and 17 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. Currently, the university has nearly 23,000 full-time students, including over 19,000 undergraduates, more than 3,600 postgraduates, and over 300 international students. There are more than 1,500 faculty members, including over 600 teachers with senior professional titles, and more than 400 doctoral and master supervisors.
