铁岭师范高等专科学校是经教育部批准设立的一所全日制普通高等专科学校，由原铁岭师范学校、铁岭师范高等专科学校、铁岭职工大学合并而来，从1949年建校至今已走过76年的光辉历程。学校原校址为银州区岭东街，2009年9月搬入现校区，校区占地面积507亩，建筑面积20万平方米，拥有多种类型和功能的实验室139个，综合性校内实训基地4个，校外实习实训基地108个，固定资产原值13,254.84万元，教学仪器设备总值9100万元。

Tieling Normal College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of the former Tieling Normal School, Tieling Normal College, and Tieling Vocational University, with a glorious history of 76 years since its founding in 1949. The original campus was located on Lingdong Street, Yinzhou District, and moved to the current campus in September 2009. The campus covers an area of 507 mu (about 338,000 square meters) with a building area of 200,000 square meters. It has 139 laboratories of various types and functions, 4 comprehensive on-campus training bases, and 108 off-campus internship and training bases. The original value of fixed assets is 132.5484 million yuan, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 91 million yuan.

学校现有33个专业（含五年制），涵盖8个专业大类和19个专业类，设有管理学院、文学院、师范学院、学前教育学院、理学院、工学院、外语学院、艺术学院、体育学院9个二级学院，在籍学生7183人。教职工513人，其中专任教师344人，教授61人，副教授102人，具有硕士学位206人，博士学位4人。学校是教育部1+X证书试点单位、辽宁省高水平特色专业群建设单位、辽宁省高等职业教育兴辽卓越院校和兴辽卓越专业群立项建设单位，辽宁省兴辽产业学院建设单位、辽宁省级现代学徒制试点工作建设单位，辽宁省职业技能等级证书试点院校。

The college currently offers 33 majors (including five-year programs), covering 8 major categories and 19 professional categories. It has 9 secondary colleges: School of Management, School of Liberal Arts, School of Normal Education, School of Preschool Education, School of Science, School of Engineering, School of Foreign Languages, School of Art, and School of Physical Education, with 7,183 enrolled students. There are 513 faculty members, including 344 full-time teachers, 61 professors, 102 associate professors, 206 with master's degrees, and 4 with doctoral degrees. The college is a pilot unit for the Ministry of Education's 1+X certificate system, a construction unit for Liaoning Provincial High-level Characteristic Professional Groups, an outstanding college and project construction unit for Liaoning Provincial Higher Vocational Education Xingliao Excellence Program, a construction unit for Liaoning Provincial Xingliao Industry College, a pilot unit for Liaoning Provincial Modern Apprenticeship System, and a pilot institution for Liaoning Provincial Vocational Skill Level Certificates.
