铜陵学院是一所安徽省属普通本科院校，坐落在素有“中国古铜都”之称的铜陵市。学校创办于1978年，2006年升格为本科院校，2018年通过教育部本科教学工作审核评估。学校现有翠湖、育秀两个校区，占地面积1310亩，校舍建筑面积49万平方米，环境优美，设施齐全，是读书治学的理想之地。

Tongling University is an ordinary undergraduate university affiliated to Anhui Province, located in Tongling City, known as "China's Ancient Copper Capital". Founded in 1978, the university was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2006 and passed the undergraduate teaching audit and evaluation of the Ministry of Education in 2018. The university now has two campuses, Cuihu and Yuxiu, covering an area of 1,310 mu with a building area of 490,000 square meters. It has a beautiful environment and complete facilities, making it an ideal place for studying and academic research.

学校以经济学、管理学为主，工学、文学、理学、艺术学等学科协调发展，形成了鲜明的办学特色。现有14个二级学院，54个本科专业，拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点12个，省级一流本科专业建设点22个，全日制本科在校生2万余人。学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工近千人，其中高级职称教师占比达40%以上，博士、硕士学位教师占比超过90%。

The university mainly focuses on economics and management, with coordinated development of engineering, literature, science, art and other disciplines, forming distinct school-running characteristics. It currently has 14 secondary colleges and 54 undergraduate majors, including 12 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 22 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, with more than 20,000 full-time undergraduate students. The university has a strong faculty of nearly 1,000 staff, among whom more than 40% have senior professional titles and over 90% have doctoral or master's degrees.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，注重培养学生的实践能力和创新精神，积极推进产教融合、校企合作，与多家企业建立了深度合作关系，为学生提供了广阔的实习实训和就业创业平台。近年来，学校毕业生就业率始终保持在全省高校前列，人才培养质量得到社会广泛认可。
