Founded in 1975, the university evolved from Tangshan Staff University (Ceramic Branch) and Tangshan Senior Technical School, and was upgraded to an undergraduate vocational university in 2023. As one of the national key vocational colleges, it boasts 7 nationally key construction majors supported by central finance, such as EMU Technology, Port Logistics Management, and Ceramic Art Design.
