UMP operates two campuses: the Gambang campus, situated near Kuantan in an industrial zone with a 2.5-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur, surrounded by multinational corporations in automotive manufacturing and petrochemical industries, providing abundant internship opportunities for students; and the Pekan campus, the main campus established in 2015, located in a coastal area and nicknamed the "Resort University," equipped with advanced ICT systems and wireless networks to support e-learning and digital management. The university comprises seven faculties offering diverse science and engineering programs, including electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science, with world-class laboratory facilities in disciplines such as automotive engineering and power systems.
