Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), formerly known as Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia, was established in July 2001. It is the 17th public university in Malaysia and one of the country's four technical universities. Located in Perlis, northwestern Peninsular Malaysia, the university initially focused on engineering and technical education but has since evolved into a comprehensive institution offering programs in engineering, business management, education, languages, communication, and other fields.
