北京科技大学天津学院是2005年4月经教育部批准，由北京科技大学和广东珠江投资股份有限公司合作举办的本科层次全日制独立学院，是全国首批接受教育部规范工作验收的三所独立学院之一。学校位于天津市宝坻区京津新城，占地1297.73亩，建筑面积35.16万平方米，依托北京科技大学优质教育资源，构建并实施以“应用型”理论教学、职业能力培养实践教学、创新创业教育和通识教育为核心的“四位一体”人才培养体系。

Tianjin College, University of Science and Technology Beijing is a full-time independent college at the undergraduate level approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2005. It is co-founded by the University of Science and Technology Beijing and Guangdong Pearl River Investment Co., Ltd., and is one of the first three independent colleges in China to pass the standardized work acceptance by the Ministry of Education. Located in Beijing-Tianjin New Town, Baodi District, Tianjin, the college covers an area of 1297.73 mu with a construction area of 351,600 square meters. Relying on the high-quality educational resources of the University of Science and Technology Beijing, it has constructed and implemented a "four-in-one" talent training system centered on "application-oriented" theoretical teaching, practical teaching for vocational ability training, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and general education.

学校教育教学成果显著，学生在全国大学生数学竞赛、智能汽车竞赛、“互联网+”创新创业大赛等赛事中获市级以上奖项1200余人次；艺术教育成果丰硕，舞蹈作品《水姑娘》《映山红》《梦回澜沧》《杜鹃花满山》连续四届获全国大学生艺术展演一等奖及优秀创作奖。学校相继获得“中国最具影响力独立学院20强”“中国十大品牌独立学院”等称号，截至2023年累计培养毕业生4万余人，为社会输送了大批应用型高素质人才。

The college has achieved remarkable results in education and teaching. Students have won more than 1,200 awards at or above the municipal level in competitions such as the National College Students Mathematics Competition, Intelligent Car Competition, and "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It has also made fruitful achievements in art education, with dance works "Water Girl", "Azalea", "Dream of Lancang" and "Azaleas All Over the Mountain" winning the first prize and Excellent Creation Award in the National College Students Art Exhibition for four consecutive sessions. The college has successively been awarded titles such as "Top 20 Most Influential Independent Colleges in China" and "Top 10 Brand Independent Colleges in China". By 2023, it has cultivated more than 40,000 graduates, providing a large number of application-oriented high-quality talents for the society.
