潍坊工商职业学院是2005年8月经山东省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，由诸城市人民政府承担财政投入并实施属地管理。2016年3月，诸城市人民政府与高科教育控股（北京）集团、山东高科教育科技有限公司签订协议，合作举办学院，合力打造职业教育高端品牌。

Weifang Business Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in August 2005. The financial investment is undertaken by the People's Government of Zhucheng City, which also implements territorial management. In March 2016, the People's Government of Zhucheng City signed an agreement with Gaoke Education Holdings (Beijing) Group and Shandong Gaoke Education Technology Co., Ltd. to jointly operate the college and strive to build a high-end brand of vocational education.

截至2023年，学校占地1300亩，建筑面积28万平方米，建有102个校内实验实训室和150多个校外实训基地；设有8个二级学院和13个科研院所，开设62个专科专业及2个"3+2"本科专业；拥有中央财政支持重点建设专业3个、山东省高水平专业群2个、省级特色专业3个，获评"全国职业教育先进集体""山东省乡村振兴示范校"等多项荣誉称号。

As of 2023, the college covers an area of 1,300 mu (about 866,667 square meters) with a building area of 280,000 square meters. It has 102 on-campus laboratories and training rooms and over 150 off-campus training bases. The college consists of 8 secondary colleges and 13 research institutes, offering 62 junior college programs and 2 "3+2" undergraduate programs. It boasts 3 key construction majors supported by the central finance, 2 high-level professional groups in Shandong Province, and 3 provincial-level characteristic majors. The college has been awarded many honors such as "National Advanced Collective in Vocational Education" and "Shandong Provincial Model School for Rural Revitalization".

学校以培养高素质技术技能型人才为目标，深化产教融合、校企合作，与山东工商学院等高校开展专本贯通培养，电子商务专业群被列为山东省第三批高等职业院校品牌专业群建设项目。同时承担成人继续教育任务，年均社会培训人次达16万以上，形成了学历教育与社会培训并举的多元化办学格局。

Aiming to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents, the college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, and carries out specialized-undergraduate贯通培养 with universities such as Shandong Technology and Business University. The e-commerce professional group has been listed as the third batch of brand professional group construction projects for higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province. Meanwhile, the college undertakes adult continuing education tasks, with an average annual social training of over 160,000 person-times, forming a diversified school-running pattern that combines academic education and social training.
