武汉文理学院是经教育部批准独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校，创办于2002年，前身为江汉大学文理学院，2020年转设为独立设置的民办本科高校并更现名。学校位于湖北省武汉市长江新区核心区，主校区地处长江之滨、滠水湖畔，现有在校学生近16000人，累计为社会培养输送数万名各类专业人才。

Wuhan University of Arts and Science is a private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2002 as the College of Arts and Sciences of Jianghan University, it was restructured into an independent private undergraduate university in 2020 and adopted its current name. Located in the core area of Wuhan's Yangtze River New Area, the main campus sits along the Yangtze River and Sheshui Lake, with nearly 16,000 students and having cultivated tens of thousands of professionals for society.

学校现开设52个本科专业、16个专科专业，涵盖经、法、教、文、理、工、医、管、艺等九大学科门类。其中金融学为湖北省独立学院重点培育专业，英语专业入选湖北省本科高校专业综合改革试点。现有专兼任教师778人，高级职称教师占比近30%，双师型教师占25%，师资队伍包含国家优青、省杰青等高层次人才及海外留学背景教师。

The university offers 52 undergraduate programs and 16 junior college programs covering nine disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, and arts. Finance is a key cultivation major for Hubei's independent colleges, and English is a pilot program for comprehensive reform of undergraduate majors in Hubei. The faculty comprises 778 full-time and part-time teachers, with nearly 30% holding senior titles and 25% being "double-qualified" teachers, including high-level talents like National Excellent Young Scholars and Provincial Outstanding Youth Scholars, as well as teachers with overseas study experience.

学校以"融文汇理，立德树人"为校训，坚持应用型办学定位，重点发展无损检测、医疗健康等特色领域。建有MRI核磁共振、CT、无损检测等高水平实验室，与中软国际、东风岚图等企业共建3个产业学院，2023届护理学专业护士资格考试通过率达98.7%，连续多年远高于全国平均水平，获评"2023年度最受关注本科院校"及校友会2024中国区域一流民办大学排名榜首。

With the motto "Integrating Arts and Sciences, Cultivating Morality and Talent", the university adheres to an application-oriented orientation, focusing on distinctive fields such as non-destructive testing and medical health. It has advanced laboratories for MRI, CT, and non-destructive testing, and has established 3 industrial colleges with enterprises like Neusoft Group and Dongfeng Voyah. The 2023 nursing graduates achieved a 98.7% pass rate in the national nurse qualification exam, far exceeding the national average for years. It was awarded "2023 Most Attention-Worthy Undergraduate Institution" and ranked first in the 2024 Alumni Association's list of Top Regional Private Universities in China.
