皖江工学院坐落于全国文明城市、享有“生态福地、智造名城”美誉的安徽省马鞍山市，毗邻南京、合肥两大省会城市，区位优势明显。学校前身为河海大学文天学院，于2008年经教育部批准设立，2018年转设为独立设置的民办普通本科高校，更名为“皖江工学院”。

Wanjiang University of Technology is located in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, a national civilized city known as "Ecological Blessed Land and Intelligent Manufacturing City". It is adjacent to Nanjing and Hefei, two provincial capitals, enjoying obvious geographical advantages. The university was formerly known as Wen Tian College of Hohai University, approved by the Ministry of Education in 2008, and was transformed into an independent private ordinary undergraduate university in 2018, renamed "Wanjiang University of Technology".

学校现有霍里山和郑蒲港两个校区，占地面积947259平方米，校舍建筑面积460256.53平方米。学校秉持“上善若水、笃学敦行”的校训精神，传承“文心励志、天道酬勤”的优良校风，以工学为主，水利为特色，多学科协调发展，致力于培养高素质应用型人才。

The university has two campuses: Huolishan and Zhengpugang, covering an area of 947,259 square meters with a school building area of 460,256.53 square meters. Upholding the school motto of "The Highest Virtue is Like Water, Diligently Learning and Practicing Earnestly" and inheriting the fine school spirit of "Cultivating Aspirations with Literary Heart, Heaven Rewards Diligence", the university focuses on engineering, features water conservancy, and develops multidisciplinary coordinatedly, committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents.
