Wuhan Business University was founded in 2002 and is the first private university in Hubei Province to pass the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment after its transformation. After 20 years of leapfrog development, its comprehensive strength has ranked among the top of similar domestic universities. It has been awarded the National Model University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform by the Ministry of Education, the National Typical Experience University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2018, and other honors. It has become the Chinese training base for the 45th and 46th World Skills Competitions and a member of AACSB International.

学校位于武汉市黄家湖大学城，设置有12院1部，48个本科专业，在校生1.7万余人。学科结构以管理学、经济学、工学为主，形成了现代商务服务、智慧物流与电子商务等特色专业集群，现有国家级一流本科专业建设点4个（会计学、电子商务、物流管理、广告学），省级一流本科专业建设点12个，国家级一流本科课程5门。校园环境优美，设施先进，建有一流的大型综合实验中心和图书馆，馆藏图书264万余册，公寓式学生宿舍均配备空调和24小时热水系统。

The university is located in Huangjiahu University Town, Wuhan. It has 12 schools and 1 department, offering 48 undergraduate majors with more than 17,000 students. The discipline structure is dominated by management, economics, and engineering, forming characteristic professional clusters such as modern business services, intelligent logistics and e-commerce. It currently has 4 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites (Accounting, E-commerce, Logistics Management, Advertising), 12 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 5 national first-class undergraduate courses. The campus has a beautiful environment and advanced facilities, including a first-class large comprehensive experimental center and a library with more than 2.64 million books. The apartment-style student dormitories are all equipped with air conditioners and 24-hour hot water systems.
